The two armies faceoff. Reinforcements are on there way but don't actualy enter the field for some reason.

The enemy army has about one half peasents. I thought I had ordered pheasents, they are much more pleasent! Anyways, they are surrounded.
And utterly crushed.
1112 - Valencia is besieged and captured. I accidently autoed it.
1114 - The Moors lay siege to Valencia! They are defeated but I accidently autoed it again >_<
1115 - Another Moorish army comes near Valencia.
ZOMBIES
Right in the center of this shot is King Scamp about to slice that Zombie Spearman's throat/shoulder open.
It turns out the leader of the army is a zombie himself! THe coward ran away leaving his troops to die!

He left his troops to die. Themoment he realized that my calvalry was gonig to charge the flanks he turned tail and fled. Unfortunately I didn't notice in time.

i just played a game as spain and i managed to take southwestern france and part of africa and i had about 5 battles at toulouse
1st battle - 2 large armies meet. france is defending spain is invading. the spanish mainly have cavalry but have some ladders and manage to take the walls. once this happens the infantry open the gates and the cavalry rushes through and decimates the remnants
Spanish victory - clear victory
2nd battle - france wants it back but is foolish enough to only send their Prince. it is lightly defended with 4 mailed knights and about 16 men in one set of spear militia. they pick a time when there is fog which you could cut with a knife. i send my spear militia to distract them. in the time it takes for them to get there i have my knights surround the cavalry in a square. when the spears get their i order all of them to move in. i capture the prince and destroy his guards with only 5 casualties. *SCORE*

3rd battle. those backstabbers the milanese have declared war and sent a force to destroy mine. my forces didnt have a chance so i auto-resolved and lost
average loss
4th battle. - i attack back. i auto resolve because my forces are massive and decimate the enemy
5th battle - once again the milanese attack except this time with over 1200 men. i have about 600 including 2 sets of catapults. i use this to my advantege and start firing at the hordes of milita and with a lucky shot i kill the enemy general! once i run out of ammo with my crossbows and catapults i charge the enemy and surround whats left. the enemy runs like the cowards they are and i finish off all that i can.

I'll take the admiral of the fleet simply because upon reading my my family history, I was related to the Admiral of the navy of Alfonse (a small iberian country which is, I assume now part of Portugal and Spain (it's so small I had difficulty finding any mention of it on wikipedia.))

As their battering ram neared my gates I rushed my peasents out to face it! The gates clsoed behind them and the battering ram was abandoned. THe peasents suffered heavy casaulties. However, this caused all of the enemy troops to rush to the ladders. Very few enemy ended up actualy climbing a ladder, most just milled around the base and dropped my framerate to <5 FPS.
In the end yet another Moorish army has been crushed!
I have reinforced Valencia but I fear that I shall need to keep a strong force there until I take the next city in which then I'll be able to move the garrison to the new castle.

You would probably want to send an army to relieve Nodikus and then retrain him and the mailed knights (if they weren't automatically disbanded) because they gained a lot of experience. I have never seen a unit with 3 gold chevrons.

That's exactly what I did, King Metromonkey. It's a nice unit of 60 Gold Chevron knights now!

The main army led by King Scamp , Prince Metromonkey and General Sirtommygun rides south across the border to face a large 2000+ Almohad army. They attack in the dead of night.
The Almohads are utterly crushed, yet again.
All but one man are killed or captured.
The battle is a decisive victory for Leon & Castille. The 6000 gold ransom demanded was refused by the apathetic Almohad ruler and the prisoners were all executed.

And yet they came again, with three roughly 500 man armeis they attacked and defeated our Main Army. Forcing them to retreat.
The moors besiege Valencia yet again. The defenders sally outbefore siege equipment can be built!

In other news the Pope died. He was succeded by a Cardinal from the Italian States whom I voted for. France and The Holy Roman Emprie have both been reconciled and are no longer excomunicated. Also the Council of Nobles wants us to take those Islands to the east of Iberia in the Mediterrainian.
