Okay, guys, we're on for a little less than 36 hours from now, right? Monday at the usual hour.
NZ: 8pm. Elsewhere, please remember it's an hour earlier than your normal time if you've recently had a time change!
EEE_BOY, sorry I missed the updates to the thread till now. Thanks for your input and offer to be a sub if needed. In my experience, the less external rules outside the game mechanics, the better, in terms of reducing conflict about those rules creating disputes. In MP, especially this type of FFA/ 'free for all' game, diplomacy is alive and well. As we know from the real world, treachery is possible; at the same time, players build their own reputations over several games, so diplomacy in this sense can extend beyond a single game. In this way, players reap what they sow, both within a single game and over the longer term. Having said that, I always try to approach each separate game as its own, fresh world--alliances and other partnerships or deals should grow out of in-game conditions. However, we're only human, and we remember stuff, and tend to trust people we know better, and so on.... In any case, good to remember: it's just a game! The point is to have fun.
