History: The European mandates established in the 20's were overthrown in the 30's. It began in Arabia when the Sharif of Mecca, peaceful up until that point, proclaimed himself caliph and called on the muslims of the world to, if they were truely faithful, oust the the Saudi's from the throne. Thousands of volunteer militias were raised around the world and invaded Arabia. With Hejaz essentially already under the Sharif's control it was only a matter of time until the rest of the penisula was conquered. The caliph met with the europeans and convinced them to release Western and Central Iran and Southeastern Iraq to him. When Antioch united the rest of the middle east under communist rule, a revolution occured in Makkah. The caliph became a constitutional monarch, a parliment was set up, the position of Elected Vizier(de facto head of state) was created, and increasingly socialist policies were enforced. A small nation on the other side of the red sea was subjugated to develop a foothold in Africa.
When the socialist powers of the world came together to sign the Warsaw Pact and declare war on the Allies, Makkah was one of the first to sign the document.

The fact that Indies can't get farther than Riflemen, Power Plants, Refinery, barracks, and the other VERY basic buildings, they'll change eventually simply because the Soviet/Allied players won't sell weapon schematics to them.
That's a typo.
All players get a few starting power plants, a refinery, and construction yard.
I can't possibly turn down a Red Alert IOT.

Though the revolutionaries in both countries included many liberals, socialists and anarchists, the communists eventually became the dominant factions through negotiation and intimidation. Under communist rule, Spain and Italy agreed to form a union (Morocco, under Spanish control, was later made into another autonomous republic).
Becoming increasingly radicalised and feeling increasingly threatened by capitalist and fascist powers, the ISR formed close ties with other leftist states. However, ISR leadership was still wary of going to war, and only reluctantly accepted membership in the Warsaw Pact. When war did break out, however, the tough decision was made to remain in the pact and take up arms to defend the communist cause.

Each counts as half a territory unless it's large large Cuba. So, pretty much a few islands in the Caribbean and all those in the Northeast Pacific count as half a territory.
