Update 2- March 1950
REVOLUTION! In Italy, Spain and Romaina communist revolutions take power. In a somewhat coordinated effort the revolutions begin on the same night when several key figures are exeuted including the Romanian Royal Family, the Spainish minister of defebnse and the Italian minister of foreign affairs. The Prime Ministers of both countries avoid capture and are taken away by supporting troops. The armies of all three nations seem to quickly join with the Communists. The air force and navy however do not. Romania sees the most amount of support as almost the entire country falls under communist control. Only a small amouint of Monarchits are left, held up next to the Bulgarian border within an old castle. In Italy, the Republicans flee to Sicily and Sardinia as the mainland falls to the new People's Republic of Italy. In Spain however more resistance is held as Spain is leader of the anti-communist league. The communists are spread around the country as all major cities still lie in Republican hands. The colonises of Spain and Italy remain in Republican hands.
The revolution has spilled over into Portugal where a small rebel army has amassed.
SUPPORT! The Communist forces in all three countries are reported of using soviet small arms. The superior firepower is helping them over run the Republican forces. Russian YAKs have also appeared in the three countries as they launched pre-emptive strikes on the Republican air fields. The majority of the populations also support the revolutions except in Spain where it is almost even. Spain's revolution has already amassed an army of 35,000 modern infantry with Soviet weapons, outnumbering Spains remaining Army. Spain has launched a state of emergency and it's army is mobilized for war. The Republican army of Italy strengthens itself and the Monarchists of Romania form a defensive line around it's small territory. Reports are coming in that a deal between Bulgaria and the annexation of the Monarchists have started.
RUSSIA HAS THE BOMB! Russia has used it's money to be the second nation to develop the Atom Bomb. The United states however has said it will research a more powerful weapon, the Hydrogen Bomb. Research is expected to finish in only 2 months. A Cold War between the United States and the USSR has begun.
POLISH INDEPENDENCE! Soviet Troops have begun to leave Poland as the new Communist governemnt of Poland takes power. The world has yet to recognize the new government, but almost half of the Polish resistance has returned home. The remaining resistance has raided the Soviet retreat with little damage. The new Polish govern,ment has given large amounts of land to the Soviets.
SWITZERLAND PREPARES! As the communists gain control in Italy, Switzerland feeling threatened has developed a defensive line across the Italian border using up all of it's reserves. This might prove useful to the Communists a a large source of economic support is unavailable to the EDL.
GROUNDBREAKING! The defensive lines of the Magonit Extension and the Pyrannes lines have started. Work will be long and costly. The Maginot Extension has already gone passed the swiss and some of the Italian border. It seems the Southhampton Line and Venice line have been put on hold.

SAUDI TRADE CONCLUDED! The Saudi government has agreed with the Italian government to sell their oil. The trade was done before the revolution so the Saudi's are trading with the Republic of Italy. This further's their war effort greatly.
KOREAN TENSIONS! The North Korean troops move towards the Southern border. This has made the South tense, but the North has done the same before many times, so they are not worried.
EDL GROWS! As the communist revolts spread, Belgium and Austria have joined the EDL.
