SCRIPT FOR PROPAGANDA FILM
(This film is to be shown in all theaters with the newsreels, alongside several other films just like it. Also to be shown to the leaders of the United States, Soviet Union, Ireland, Netherlands, and others)
*Scene: Aerial view of the devastation of Berlin*
Berlin. Once a bustling city of thousands, now a pile of radioactive rubble. Destroyed by the atrocity of a government willing to kill innocents to save itself.
*Cut to next scene: A village, supposedly behind French lines, is in flames. Nearby we see soldiers in French uniforms, some entering a church, some leaving it with their plunder. From the church issue the screaming of a woman. Cut audio to narrator.*
A small village in the province of Asturias, near the city of Gijon. Few besides our brave cameraman have escaped its devastation. Burned, looted, and defiled, it is suffering at the hands of a government poisoned by greed and bloodlust.
*Black screen*

*Scene of village slides to occupy right half of screen, forming a comparison picture. Screen then cuts to clips of President shaking hands, making speeches, etc.*
Though our state is threatened by the foul corruption of the foreign invaders, our fair President, who has struggled long and hard for peace on this continent, sacrificing much to bring about the dream of peace and freedom from a corrupt bureaucracy, remains a solid leader, standing defiantly against the winds of the storm.
*Cut audio to President making speech.*
"We are now faced with a problem similar to that of our ancestors. In the days of the Moors, Spain was threatened by infidels from the south, and the betrayal of the Portugese from the west. During the War of Spanish Succession, the English fought long and hard to keep French imperialism in check, only to betray their own cause and allow the French to set up the hated Bourbon monarchy, which has only recently been deposed, and by a long, hard struggle. Now we are faced by all these problems at once, yet I assure you that we shall prevail! Spain has survived through much darker and gloomier times than these, and after each there has been a rebirth and a great golden age! My friends, these invasions only signal the rebirth of our state, the return of the glorious past to our present!"
*Deafening applause and cheering. Audio cuts back to narrator. Scene cuts back to village.*
In the face of danger--
*Scene cuts to President. Cheering in the background.*
--we shall prevail!
*Scene cuts to waving flag of Nationalist Republic.*
The Nationalist Republic of Spain needs the support of all of its citizens to make that happen!
*Fade out scene. End.*
