GERMAN INDEPENDENCE! The new German Communist Party takes control of the country as Russian, Polish and Romanian forces leave. Germany almost immediately signs into the Warsaw Pact. Germany’s economy has been hit by the war, but it isn’t far from pre-war. The German military remains weak though, but reforms might take place soon.

QUIXOTE TANK! Spain has developed a new Quixote tank. It could be compared to the English London tank, or the American Sherman. This happens as the Spanish continue to increase their military power.

PYRENEES LINE!? The idea of the Pyrenees line is reintroduced by Spanish high command. The price remains at 85 WC. Some generals though don’t think a line equal to the Maginot is not needed because of the natural protection of the Pyrenees, their plan would only involve using 60 WC.

NATIONS IN SPACE! Thanks to France and Portugal, the NPA continues it’s space race. The NPA sends up another 5 satellites and is now able to send up animals. The UK and the Commonwealth meanwhile send up their own satellites and continue their own research.

ALBANIAN SUPPORT! The UK supports it’s new ally’s military by sending it 50 London Tanks. The Albanians are very thankful.

I hope nothing has happened to EQ, Italy is now NPC. Backgrounds will be done next turn because it will be a new year Does anyone know where EQ and/or grandmaster are?

josef, you can join. Ireland though is an NPC nation permentantly, as is all nations under an unplayable list. Yopu may pick any European or Communist nation under the playable lists though

that means your spy network is worth 65 wc. thre more it is worth, the more effective it is. You can put it to any use you want.

Josef, the whole point of secret orders is that, when IC, you're not supposed to know about them (though personally I prefer PM'ing to *secret* tags).
