I am thinking that maybe mark the lwSSS file with dolphins, since they sometimes follow ships.

And/or debris like small pieces of wood, containers, coconuts to indicate that this is a highly travelled and preferred route.

I was also thinking maybe small wisps of clouds that could be an indication of wind.

Dolphins & Cargo: Cute (Gives me an idea for a unit: "Barbarian" Iceberg moving at 1 tile per turn- for all those Titanics out there, hehe)

Yeah, I guess it would end up looking like fog around the ship.

I love it Pounder. I'm always glad to see little details like this to make the map look a little more real. I have one problem though. I use Rhye's Terrain rather than Snoopy's. Is there any chance you will be making a version that works with Rhye's terrain? I also have a suggestion. If you ever decide to tweak it a little I would make the reef a little less uniform within the square so that it thins out into bands that parallel the shoreline. Of course if I could do it I wouldn't be asking you then would I?

I decided to tweak the reef a bit, as a agree with Stonebear.

Does this look a little better considering the limited space there is to work with.

It is my own compilation of my favourites, I didn't make any of them I just add the little coins and shields and happy faces.

I did have other versions with some coral (a bit more colour) and version with some kelp forests and larger rock formations. What I noticed when I used larger pieces was that it became very hard to hide patterns and the larger pieces were just to dominant.

I was trying to make something for the epic game. I think that coral reefs and kelp forests would be good in scenarios as landmark terrain.

I was playing around, thinking that the reef could be extended in closer to the shore in some places using other files.

It is on Midnight Pipers' xtgc terrain. I have added the fjords and the reef bits and have also made a few tweaks around the coastal areas.

Edit: Site answered my question. Cordy's irrigation with snoopy's standard terrain is the chit. Now if I can just find something better for these roads/railroads. Back to the mods.

CrackedCrystal made a superb modification to Snoopy's wCSO modification adding banks that distinguish the sea tile from the ocean tiles. It happens to be the same file that the reef modification was made on. So I have combined the 2 so that the reef and the banks are both together.
