As long as they acknowledge Rome as their ancestral nation, they can live. The Ottomans are a foreign blight upon the Roman people, but the French, Spanish and English at least acknowledge the wisdom and strength of Rome past.

Well, then, that's nice. Perhaps we can arrange for the Sultan to survive the reconquest of Constantinople.

(I'm going to post a potential treaty tonight since I'll be away when the actual update happens. The Ottomans will survive, in a reduced-to-the-weakest-nation-on-the-map kind of way.)

Rome has 30 inf, 15 cav and 20 art. You have 25 inf, 15 cav and 15 art. 3:1 odds are usualy best for high probability of success. If Rome splits her army into two theaters of war and Reno is kind you could easily have most of your kingdom when the smoke clears. I'd guess you'll only lose half the balkans and Egypt west of the delta.
