I think saying that restrictions on abortion are necessarily illiberal oversimplifies liberalism, which is perfectly capable of accommodating restrictions on absolute liberty. Even when adopting the 'bodily autonomy' argument, there's still the possibility of some other considerations existing which might support a liberal argument for abortion restrictions.
