The Russian smiled.

Noone knew he was a Russian of course, both chieftans had simply assumed that he was from the other tribe, a mercenary man interested in gaining their favor by telling them about the other.

"They have built their forces against us, you say?"

"Yes, sir, they tried to draft me into their army but I refused, I ran here and if you will promise me that you won't throw me to war I brought you the information."

The chief spat, "You are a coward."

The Russian was certainly not, he nodded, "Yes sir."

"I banish you from my chiefdom, hide as you will, coward."

The Russian tried to frown and moan as he ran to the forest.

Russia had a single King, a single man in control of it all, this was not true in Urallia, here there was a Tribal Council and sovreign tribes. In Russia mistrust was taken for granted, In Urallia it was deadly. If the Chiefs did not trust each other it would be deadly. The king would send his scouts to the area he had described to check on the cowardly informer and just like the last few chieftans he would find troops there. They were Russian troops but who could tell the difference? The chiftains couldn't. The mistrust would spread and breed hatred. Then the Russians would come in their own name.

The Russian smiled as he slipped away victorious.

OOC: I understand that this is kinda sinister but I was really hoping for the update to happen before the Urallian player came on to actually look at my sinisterness and that it would all hit him like a big bag of... ferrets.

But now that probably won't happen. Why do you even pretend to tell us when your updates are EQ? Why not just surprise us?

For 17 straight hours? I thought EQ was still in HS. I might be able (but not willing!) to pull off that sorta crap now that I'm in college, but I don't imagine that I coulda back in the High Schools days.
