Congo army breaks through Nigerian lines! Using a technique developed at the dawn of gunpowder, the Congians placed tons of dynamite underneath the Nigerian position and blew a hole in the line. The break was powerful and the Nigerian army was set on the run until Egyptian, Aztec, and Viking forces arrived to assist the Nigerians, creating yet another stuck offensive for the Congians. The battle continues to escalate as the newly formed GDI sends supplies and troops and RNNA and the United Islands have been sending military support for the Congians.
Aztec-Indonesian-Indian-Viking Space Alliance launches a second space station! After 5 years of hard work, man's third space station has been launched.
All nations involved in the space race now have spy satilite systems.
Turkey enters Late Modern Age.
Congo takes full control of the Zulu Empire. Using some minor support from the Zulu military the Congians have taken full control and proclaimed an Iron Fist Empire. However the bulk of the Zulu army has begun a guerrilla war against the Iron Fist army and has control of a few major cities.
Global Defense Initative formed by Aztecea, Indonesia, and the Vikings to check the growing threats of Korea and the Iron Fist Empire. The Iroquois, NEC, Texas, Nigeria, Uruguay, and Thailand all have also joined the new alliance.
First Egyptian lands on moon.

I suggest we form INTO - InterNational Treaty Organization. This will soley be based on protection, but in the case of an agressive move is needed as a pre-emptive defensive maneuver, we shall take a vote and simply the majority decision shall be enforced by all nations. I ask this not just for my safety, but for the safety of future humanity.

The price an economy upgrade and a naval upgrade. Those willing to buy need only apply through more secure means. Brazil also will not join any alliance until it is internally secure.

Why should we bend under the weight of American and European nations when we can be a strong, proud peoples?
