X Virus
The X virus, more commonly known as "Las Palagas", is the first mutagenic virus discovered by the founder of X.. While the X virus is responsible for the creation of the majority of their Bio-Organic Weapons (or B.O.W.s), the original intent was to create the perfect B.O.W. This virus leaked out of the lab somehow and started to infect local cattle, the cattle had worm like organisms coming out of their noses, ears and other cavities,but the authoritys thought it was just a cow virus. It started to spread to people, the symptoms were high fevers, red eyes and bleeding noses and ears. It spread and spread, The SFRJ closed its borders and managed to contain the virus but it kept spreading in the DB. But the nonsense of this was that people even after having massive blood lose didn't die, almost all of them went into a coma. The stayed in a coma for five days and when they woke up one thing was on there mind, rotting flesh. Huge massacres started happening and the military couldn't do anything because it was transmitted by touch and water, most of the population got infected. The worst moment of the outbreak was when the infected humans heads exploded and a worm like organism came out and started looking for other pray, we will see what will happen.

The Corporation is sickened by Xs use of biological weapons on civilians, but is using ALL of its formidable resources to find a cure. I ask that all nations impose a quarantine on that province, but I thank Maryland for their support in this time of trouble.

Soviet Space Technology In Everyday Life
Soviet space probes may not be exploring the Moon this year, but space technology continues to advance, and we are starting to see how it will enhance our lives in the future.
Early this year the Soviet Union launched what has been billed as the world's first observational satellite. The Meteor satellite is equipped with cameras and other equipments to monitor Earth's atmosphere. Soviet meteorologists have already begun to use data from the satellite to better forecast the weather.
Later in the year, two satellite were launched to test the possibilities of a "communication satellite", which in the future could provide an alternative to radio or cable communication. The first launch was not successful, but the second satellite was successfully in relaying telephone calls from Paris in the WEU to Pyongyang on the other side of the Eurasian continent. Our engineers promise more exciting things to come, including satellites which can relay television shows.
"New Directions" In the Soviet Union
The Soviet Union is at its strongest since the Reformation, perhaps even since its original foundation. The new Soviet leadership thinks this is the right time to relax some of the stricter regulations that were placed on Soviet citizens for various reasons related to internal and external security, some of which had been in place in some form since the Great October Socialist Revolution and was not lifted during the New Soviet Democratic Reforms in the Amurian Soviet Republic.
Recognizing that needless restrictions will hurt rather than help the development of the Soviet Union as a modern, socialist state, the Soviet Union's "New Directions" Policy will grant more civil and economic liberties to Soviet citizens within reasonable bounds. Among the restrictions relaxed this year are the restrictions on internal movement, freedom of assembly, freedom of speech and freedom of religion. New laws have been enacted to ensure that the people's rights are safeguarded. At the same time, the bureaucracy is being reformed to remove some outdated elements, to allow better, more informed and more democratic decision-making.
In a move debated since the founding of the Amurian Soviet Republic, the Supreme Soviet has finally voted to posthumously rehabilitated thousands of political prisoners accused of crimes against the state during the Terror and the Transition, and granted amnesty to thousands more. Among these were some of the leaders of the Revolution, who were caught up in the purges of the Transition, including Leon Trotsky, Grigory Zinoviev, Lev Kamenev and Nikolai Bukharin.
