Revolution IOT

Yes, the war is over, and Sonereal just introduced a rule that, had it been introduced, would have probably won the war for me and Maryland.

Ah well. Since he's not socialist I can probably get away with attacking him now.

oh. well... remind me to change my orders. for the third freaking time today.

So, like, do I get XP now, or what? Dommy hasn't agreed to anything.

It's also making me totally mad.

If I did it during the war the Holy Land would've been like "That's completely unfair! If I had known that I would've built more navies (or something" while if I did it next turn, you would've been like "That's completely unfair! If you had thought of that at the beginning of the war, I would've won!

Think of IOT Rev as a massive learning experience. I used IOT6 has a base ruleset so cool new mechanics take a while to pop up as a workable idea. Namely, balance purposes.

ill say it again, is the war over?

I...guess?

Next IoT game you do, everyone should know that I'm claiming Egypt, and whoever claims Israel can just die.

ahem. if people complain just because i was playing as Byzantium every game, people will complain about you being Egypt every game.

unless they are all nasty little hypocrites.

Ok, let's talk about this game guys. Keep it somewhat on topic.

It's not like I've had an opportunity to actually play as Egypt. In IoT6, my nation imploded because I started to feel like a dick. In this, I've been at war for half the game and recently converted to English socialism. In the Enlightenment, I'm Antioch and have very different goals. It's not like I've ever powergamed or anything as Egypt.

Noobia sounds awesome. We should be Broskis.

indecision warning!

Catalonia has Abandoned English socialism after registering a sudden drop in the first Fiscal Quarter.

The Spanish government fails economics forever if they think that you can have any major shift in government or economic systems without taking a temporary lost.

and that, is exactly why i dont want to change it. i hate instability.

now im going to sleep. good night, all of you, and try not to blow up the world or cause parts of it to sink, or somehow summon thousands of Tyrannosaurus Rex's.

Right.. prepare for the chaos I have to deal with this turn. My map of agreements, sales, and claims:

iotgame.png

Any objections? (Brown squares will go to White and High in subsequent turns.

Deals:
5 territories to Egypt for something
EDIT: West Coast to Celtic for 8XP
5 Claims from Spain for 10 LP (still active I believe)
5 territories to White and High for 5XP

Selling: Greek Isles and Central America
This proposal is acceptable to the Great Qaghante of White and High
Soldiers in the Sinai would disagree with you on that.

And since the war is over (AFAIK), time to implement the new blockade rule.

Rule Amendment

Since navies under sorta underpowered for the moment, they have an added ability. Territories they blockade can't produce LP. Simple but effective.

OOC: How does this apply to my nation, that has no coastal provinces, besides one that isn't connected to my territory? Will only coastal provinces produce no LP?

Only blockaded coastal territories are affected. If they're landlocked, no problem. If your one coastal territory is blockaded, well, that one won't produce LP.

@Mad Man

Calm down.
