Turn 1: 1670AD
Kill a Cannon, then lose a Janissary near Dirac to a German invading Rifleman. Get a Great General. Whip a Galleon in Atina. Open borders with China and sign DPs with China and also Netherlands for the extra stability.
Turn 2: 1675AD
Apostolic Palace votes required on decision to stop trading with Arabia. I vote never. Communism researched. Pick Physics next (5 turns, but that is counting our current GA research level). Bulb a Great Scientist towards Physics, which will now complete as our Golden age ends (3 more turns).
Vikings capture (temporarily?) Milan from Germany!
Luxor has its borders reduced by Ethiopian culture and is again losing food. Temple finished in Luxor this turn, but now will need a Christian Cathedral and Theatre here also. Maybe even National Gallery after that too. A barbarian Camel archer approaches Buto. Shuffle some military units around in Egypt to cover for it. (Finally) build some overdue Christian Temples in Mecca and Kudus.
Kill a German Rifle with a Grenadier. Transfer some more troops into Pompeii. Germany doesn't seem to be moving out of Rome though, nor is it using its large stack there to retake Milan. AI Germany might be just trying to prevent a flip with these units? We have Rome surrounded with our culture on 3 sides at the moment. In order to retake Milan, Germany leaves only one Rifle defending Klagenburg. I move a stack of Janissaries and a Curiassier within striking distance for our next turn.
Trade stone to Persia for 5GPT. Clam to Japan for 4GPT. Spain has 2GPT available. Cancel our Clam for 5GPT deal with Spain and immediately renegotiate Clam for 7GPT instead. Open Borders with Spain. Trade them our world map for 150G.
Turn 3: 1680AD
Infiltrate Klagenfurt with our Great Spy. Steal Rifling from Rome (~1500 espionage points cost). Our posturing around Klagenfurt has caused Germany to slightly delay the retaking of Milan. But now they have some Cavalry units adjacent to the Viking-controlled city, which will surely fall next turn as only Crossbows are defending.
Our frigate tears up some French fishing boats in Central America. Trade Sheep to Inca for 3GPT.
Turn 4: 1685AD
Germany recaptures Milan. Physics comes in just as our Golden Age (temporarily) ends. Pick Electricity next, for all those Windmills and Watermills that can (and should) build. A new Great Scientist is born in Istanbul with Physics, on cue.
Big switch of civics to Universal Suffrage/Free Speech/Emancipation/State Property/Free Religion. The Democratic Turkish Empire will prevail! Enter another Golden Age using Great Scientist and Great Artist. Did I pick the correct civics? I think until we get to Cristo Redentor, we should be in these, whilst we turtle out the current war epidemic and also the pending plague. I've built a number of jails and courthouses to handle the war instability so far, but still some more to be built.
Our economy is going gangbusters again, which will help to upgrade our outdated military some more. Germany can be held off now, probably they will collapse soon anyway. Vikings and Russia also may collapse at any moment. When the next plague arrives (soon?) it may tip some of these civs over the brink.
Statue of Liberty in Hattusas in 7 more turns.
Turn 5: 1690AD
Reposition our spy in Rom. We are back at Solid thanks to the Golden Age (7 turns still to go of this one, plus the Triumphal Arch-inspired extra turns beginning soon in 1700AD). Trade wheat to Ethiopia for 3GPT. Trade another wheat to Spain for cow.
Turn 6: 1695AD
Capture and Raze Tiraspol (Russian). Make peace with Russia for 190G and 9GPT and their WM. Now we can transfer some military to focus on Germany. Open Borders with Russia. More troop upgrades.
Turn 7: 1700AD
Great Scientist born in Istanbul, keep for now. Our spy in Rom is captured. Begin building another.
Build a couple of workers, we seem to have lost many of those that I was last using 40 turns ago

. More troop upgrades. Pompeii looks fine now, I don't think Germany is going to come out of Rome.
Turn 8: 1703AD
Triumphal Arch is built in Istanbul for the 2/3 UHV. 13 turns of Golden Age to follow now. Keep building our infrastructure, such as Jails and Banks.
After bombarding a few French and Aztec cities in Central America, France is now willing to accept peace (and gift us 80G). Open Borders with them and trade Marble for 8GPT. Open Borders with Aztecs also. Portugal finally claims the Whale, which I demand from them.
Turn 9: 1706AD
Uneventful. A replacement spy arrives in Rom.
Turn 10: 1709AD
Begin bombarding Klagenfurt. Learn Electricity. Start Steam Power next, we have plenty of worker improvements (windmills and watermills) which we should start building now and 50% improved worker rates are good. Radio (Cristo Redentor and Eiffel Tower) probably to follow Stean Power.
Make peace with Vikings for 80G. Open Borders with them. Trade wheat for 8GPT. Trade Horse to Japan for Rice. Statue of Liberty will complete in Hattusas next turn, I'm going to play an 11th turn to finish this wonder and then post a save.
Turn 11: 1712AD
Plague starts in Japan. We should build some more Hammans in cities which don't currently have one. Our spy in Rom is captured again. State of Liberty is completed. Bombard Klagenfurt's defences down to 0%. Ready to invade/attack after some suicide Cannon work on our next turn.
Future Objectives
We need one more vassal. Plenty of candidates to choose from. We don't currently have contact with Mali, although our Frigate is heading that way shortly. We are several techs ahead of everyone else, so we could just about bombard our way to victory against any particular civ and gain a capitulation. Certainly before the 1870 deadline shouldn't be a problem.
We should make maximum use out of the windmill and watermill bonuses that Electricity allows us. Farms on rivers should be replaced by watermills and some of our mines on hills should be replaced with windmills where there isn't a resource that actually needs to be mined.
We have a Great Scientist waiting in the capital with nothing particular to do at this point in time. Many of our cities have Great Generals settled inside them, so we shouldn't need to actually switch to Theocracy or Vassalage to further expand our military.
