Rhye's of Civilization - the fastest loading mod Expanded - PART II

I just remembered, quite vaguely, that I had the same problem at some point and that I noticed the path for the file was broken in the .ini... The wav in question is a standard game file, find it and make sure the path in the ini for the mod's worker is correct.

Any possibility that this could be released as one big .zip file?
I've been trying to download and run this and It keeps hanging up upon entering the game itself. I get the:
FILE NOT FOUND: "art\units\ancient settler\ \ \ \ \ \art\units\settler\settdefault.flc"
reply, and the game quits out. Now I'm using Civ III Conquests 1.22 US/English version, but I'm on a mac, so I don't have winzip to properly extract the .zip files, so I've been doing it by hand. But I've got to say, that when looking through the four seperate .zip downloads I have not come across this file it says is missing.
Again, I'm trying this on a mac and having no success.

This is the coolest mod ever! I think it is the best and only way to play civilization. Thanks Rhye!

At the bottom of the main CFC page there are written the Today's birthday (or something like that). Yesterday there was the birthday of you, Sword_Of_Geddon and Vuldacon. For Vuldacon there was already a thread, and I couldn't start 2 bday threads in the same forum in the same day! I usually check if there's anyone's birthday every day.

I love this mod. I can't say enough about it. The only thing that bothers me- How can a Lancer have the same offensive and deffensive power as Calvary???

Happy birthday SK.
May you civ till your fingers are too old and feeble to command your great empires!

I got this about a week ago & I'm having a lot of fun with it. Amazing Mod. : )

I decided to play Mongolia & try to win by domination. It has been hard since I'm usually the type to build a small empire in Civilization. I've tried a couple games with the Mongols, where I've been wining in score but Domination seems near impossible, especially with 400 turns. That 40% of the land area is a tough order.

Any tips on world domination would be great & also, when you win the game with the mod, does it go into the Civ III hall of fame?

Elsewhere, in the civ 3 mod section, posters have suggested placing super, immobile units on islands for the AI civs, as well as raising the optimum number or cities to the max. As I only play Rhyes of Civ anyway, I wonder if any of the Rhye-dinistas might have any better suggestions? Can I just place a numerical modifier somwhere as in good old civ 2?

original post:

I want to mod the AI civs to be more agressive against the human civ. I know I can choose the most agressive choice at the start of the game. I also know that I could make all the AI civs more agressive in general in the scenerio editor - rules - civ - civ name, and setting the agression level bar to "more" for each civ individually. But this is not what I want. I want to make them more agressive toward the human player specifically.

In civ II there were two ways of doing this. In the editor you could set your civs reputation, and you could set each of the AI civs attitude toward your civ. The combination of the two meant that you could make the other civs much more agressive toward your civ form the start.

I dont believe these kinds of settings can be made in the civ III scenerio editor. If it is possible at all, I think one may have to go into the ini file and alter it somehow. Maybe its not possible, but I would like to know.

The problem now is, that as my civ pulls away in dominance, power and culture, the other civs shy away from agression and the game becomes somewhat dull. Dullness through dominance means once Im in charge, there nothing left to play for. I think I favor the old civ II where the more dominant you became the more the old AIs used to team up in order to try to defeat you. Not only did it make the game even more fun the more powerful you became, but is really the only intelligent alternative, artificial or otherwise.

Im sure this kind of gang up on the leader AI behavior cant be modified by me, so at the minimum I would like to make them more agressive towards me in general throughout the game as I could do in the old civ II. Yes, ideally I would like to have them team up against me when I begin to dominate as well as in the old civ II, but...

So I will just stick with the first request - a modifier to make the AI more agressive toward me and or lower my reputation and esteem in general. Of course this can be done through dasterdly deeds and broken promises and treaties in gameplay, so it is modified somehow, somewhere, consistantly throughout the game. The question is, how can I program it into a scenario from the start?

Can someone help me out, or can it not be done?

Thanks
