When they introduced the new timeline feature an example of a historical moment is being the first to sail around the world.. along with all the other clues.. I hope they make me happy with Lydia. They need to make it up to me somehow. They need to make feitorias incredible. I want an Açores or an Algarve natural wonder and/or Palácio da Pena wonder.
I'm still incredibly disappointed. Straight up trolling lol.. ugh. Portugal always makes third ring if there is one. It'd have to focus on the points missed in the trailer. The Soviet-era civ hasn't happened yet either. So economics i.e. trade, centers of wealth & likely culture, (perhaps sanitation?), socialism v. capitalism would be a theme. Perhaps independent cities adopt their own government structure?

Assuming for a moment the the red mountain glimpsed in the Cree first look is a natural wonder and not a new terrain feature, we have now seen all the natural wonders in R&F even if we don't know official what three of them are

For me personally, despite them being a mainstay, I think they're less deserving than either Georgia or Canada (neither of which I think should be included at this point in time, but have a fair shot). It seems apparent that, as a civilization, they're probably the least deserving to have achieved entry in the series history (so long as one is okay with a cultural blob civ that represents a group, rather than a distinct entity, such as Polynesia, Native Americans (atrocious depiction, but the cultures that it was meant to represent were more worthy), the Celts, etc.). They've been fun to play as, but we have a lot of similar play-style groups, and Africa (including southern Africa alone) seems like it has more to offer.

I think they are inevitable, but not necessarily in this expansion. Especially now that we have 1 civ and 1 alt-leader that are warmongers in the expansion already.
