True, but at the same time it is supposed to reflect Qin's ability as a leader, not China as a whole. The best alternative I could think of is the Acropolis should give an extra great writer, artist, and musician points while also giving one great scientist and great engineer points per turn. This would represent all the great minds that Classical Greece had during their time and the early rush toward engineers could go toward wonder construction.
Agreed. But while China has many cultural wonders, they are hardly known for them in comparison to Egypt or Greece. Even in the recent board game based on Civ VI, Egypt is given the "Monument Builders" ability (not Iteru from Civ VI or Bride of the Mediterranean).
It was my understanding that the governor could only build one water park in a city. People are talking like they can be built in multiple coastal cities of the same civ. Is this true? Would the parks created by that governor disappear when the city gets taken over, like the UIs? To me, it means you can build it in the same city as an entertainment district, which would insanely boost that city's amenities, while the city with the water park district replaces the entertainment district. If they can build multiple Copacabanas it would be extremely bizarre because there's only one Copacabana.

Liang the Surveyor can let your builder create a city park improvement. It's different than a water park which is a district, but exclusive with the Entertainment Complex. However she does get bonuses for building Water Park districts and buildings. But you don't need the governor to build one and she can be moved to other cities, to build the city park.
I still wish they'd given Qin's LA to Egypt and the Eagle Warrior's ability to convert defeated enemies into builders to Egypt's Chariot Archer. That would have been a thematic and fun way to pursuit a culture victory.

So you'd want Egypt to be able to build wonders 15% faster on river tiles, have the ability to rush early wonders with builder charges, and be able to convert defeated units into builders? I'm all for synergy, but that would just about kill the competition for early game wonders.

In my ideal Egypt the bonus to building on rivers would be replaced (and everyone would be allowed to build on floodplains at Irrigation...I hate that Egypt is alone in being able to do this) with a culture/tourism boost to Wonders at Natural History.

Sarah said we would be getting another Livestream this week. I'm surprised we haven't seen the announcement yet. Unless they do it on Friday, uncharacteristically.

Sarah tweeted about doing an alliances livestream, so I was expecting the Cree, finally. I hope Robert "Chairkicker" the Bruce shows up though. I want to see/hear more of him.
Woohoo~ I got some of the predictions on Scotland right; I was right about the "Thistle" symbol, the "Scottish Enlightenment" ability name and the fact it provides "GS and GE points" in some way, but predicted that Science buildings provide more science in general rather then science from happiness. I think everyone guessed the Highlander, but not a replacement for a Ranger which is actually pretty neat!

Would they do the Cree when the Cree have a bonus for alliances? Don't they usually show off a mechanic with a civ that doesn't have anything special related to the mechanic?
Because it doesn't make sense thematically and it doesn't really serve a gameplay purpose to deny other Civs the ability to build districts on them, in my opinion.
