What! How could you say that? Canada is a proud member of the Commonwealth and a former member of the colonies. We were the ones who remained loyal to Parliament, lords and Senate when those Americans wrongfully uprised against the British government (The life expentancy and rights and freedoms were higher in BNA then anywhere else in the world, yet they were unsatisfied and wanted more.)

i am afraid that in this world there is only british english. the candadadaians speak canadadadian which is a mix of lots of native languges and the respawned americans have had no time to devlop their own wierd spelling to words

no, i got to about 1900 and then i think whatever disadvantage i had from being a native civ lifted. after that i almost caught up with every one (but not quite).

its called isolationist. foreign trade yields a tech bonus, so have multiple people now with open borders would have given you a slight tech boost
