k thanks for the orders sheep2. i dont know how you remember which games you're in (i can barely count how many you have in your sig), but try to remember this one.
on a side note. its past midnight GMT and i still dont have orders for:
Egypt
Prussia
so i guess update will have to wait till tomorow. i'll check back later today just in case and if all the orders come in i'll do the update late.
if anyone sees Jason the King, Consul_Thud (sorry, not sure i remember the name correctly) please ask them to send the orders ASAP.
Some of you took the risk, and left border provinces unprotected in order to claim more land. Congratulations, it payed off.
Its only turn 2 and already there was a battle!
The race to claim Province 42 turned bloody as both Austrian and Turkish armies marched in to claim the lands as their own.
The Turks wanted to be sure that they claimed the vital province and sent 2 armies to claim it. The Austrians believing their claim to be the rightful one only sent one army. Though outnumbered 2 to 1 the Austrian soldiers believed the land to be rightfully theirs and fought as though they were defending their own homes. They were able to decimate one of the Turkish armies before being overwhelmed by pure numbers. (rolls: 6 vs 2, 1 then 3 vs 5)

at jasons request (and cause its geographicaly correct) his country is Carthage not Egypt (which as jason correctly pointed out is not even on this map).
i just cant seem to get this thing 'alligned' to the right time with the updates. lets see if we can do tomorows by midnight GMT (cause i dont think i can stay up this late for many days in a row)
to Turkey:
We do not wish to choose borders until 1 turn befor the end of the Conquering race, but if you realy scared from an attack, I can assure you I won't attack you with a NAP.
to Vikingland:
IF you will not take your part of our deal this turn, than we will have to defende thos areas from far-away nations, so do your job and take them already!
to Germany:
We will enter 57 this turn. you can have 58 and that will be our borders, we also will accept a NAP.
To: Russia
From: Vikingland
We will take those countries, in time, don't you worry about it. And IF you would take any of those, wel lets just say it would be bad for you.
To: Prussia
From: Vikingland
Will you sign a DPP or an MPP with us? We both border a nasty Russia, so an alliance would benefit us.
To: Britain
From: Vikingland
Will you sing a MPP with us? Or a DPP?
to Vikingland:
Nasty? are we nasty? we could have taken most of Finland in the last few turns. and you still call us nasty? we gave you the control of 3 areas, for 1 of our own, and you call us nasty? we hope you have an apologise...
To: Russia
From: Vikingland
No, you couldn't have. IF you hade really went for it, you could have taken 1, and ONLY 1, of the Finnish/Swedish territories by now. So to say you could have taken most of Finland is just plain wrong. And about the nasty part, you said you would take those lands if i didn't, and that was nasty said of you.
i proly shouldnt do this as it could defuse the beggining of a hostile situation in the game (which is good for the game's lifespan), but:
Knas, i think you misunderstood Erez. i'm prety sure what he was saying was that if you dont take those lands soon, someone else will and they you two (russia and vikings) would have to deal with a third power in your territories.
