I'll also make attempts to divert campaign fundings into hiring assasins as well as Siccing my most fanatical and loyal supporters at him. (You're in the lead, just so you know it's not personal.)

I think these kind of rules should be allowed, but then again they probably aren't but it was worth a try.

i had thought of finding a way to distribute the votes gotten by the players that quit, but i decided to just throw them away for 2 reasons:
1. it would require changing/adding a prety major rule in the middle of the game. which i dont like doing.
2. no matter how it's done, someone will not like it, and possibly quit over it if they dont like it enough, thereby throwing into a loop of player quiting.

and no, you cant assasinate other players.

well, its friday. 3 days since the update, and i've got.... 2 orders.
the next incarnation of this game i'm making the updates once a week cuase the average NESer is clearly not as fast as i would like them to be.
but as for this game, i'll wait till the end of the work day (6 hours or so) and see what i get by then. will probably do the update anyway though, so send your orders.

I just don't get this!
I out-money you so badly that it won't help to spend all your money, and I outvote you there by two to one! The all-important percentage means that even if you get 30% and I get 15% vote increase, you've lost ground!

grand total of 3 (or 4) orders now. and i'm already at home, with absolutely no desire to do the update. frankly i'm disappointed in the people that originaly joined this game and it's making it harder to get myself to pull away from work i'm getting paid to do and switch to doing the update.
i'm sorry for those that are still sending orders that the updates arent comming as fast as i had promised to do them. hope you dont mind the slowdown too much. but doing an update for 3 orders just felt like a waste earlier today. so update on monday morning. if i somehow realy get teh urge to do it i'll do it on sunday, but dont count on it, i've got civ4 as an alternative here, lol

the update..... its wednesday today, so lets say friday hopefully.

as for who's playing.... well, there are currently 7 players officialy.
but i only got orders from 5 for this last update.
of the two who didnt send orders (i sent PMs asking em if they're still in) one said that he's going away for a few days and the other didnt reply at all.

Fly back to Arizona and campaign for more funds... then I spend half of it on assasins vrs. Erik and I embezzle the rest and go to... Switzerland!
