Role Play Challenge: GREED THREE!!!

Recap:

RPC rules
1) Continual profit, actually slowed us down alot more than I expected. However, I really abused the spiritual trait swapping in and out of slavery ALOT.
2) CORPS! what is not to love, we founded everyone, claimed all resoruces except sugar which we got in a trade.

Why we won
1) Rivers, financial. Any questions?
2) The Mali UU Skirmishers each the Aztec UU Jaguars for breakfast. I mean damn is Monty dense. Great UU the Mali have, and it lasted a very long time!
3) Teching rifling while Peter tried to bring representation and democracy to the Russian people. :backstab:
4) The final claiming of the continent by destroying a very overmatched Isabella who had most of her army off trying to kill heathens on the other land mass.
5) Hammarabi and Ragnar hated each other's guts but neither could ever get and advantage over the other.

Hope everyone enjoyed and appreciated the extent that we stayed true to the GREED concept. Like the Charlemagne game tedious spreading religions and coprs, but well worth it.

Finally, I hope everyone see a good example of how corps can be used for a late game culture win here. Sure we upped the slider very late and ran some late artist specialists, but the key was those 3 culture corps of Sid's/Creative/Alimunim Inc. Like I frequently say, there are numerous ways to win culturally, here is yet another example!

Wow. Congratulations in advance on another job well done.

If only I had BTS. I'd try shadowing some of these. This was the best one in a while, but rereading some of the older ones, my favorites are Chairman Mao's Revised Plan and the Bismark one that I can't remember the name of.

Thanks New Guy!!!!

Mao and Bismark (The Master Builder) were definitely 2 of the top 5 games in my opinion!

Mao #1 by a long shot. And the map helped a lot as wel.. I played it and had an absolute blast. Did I mention I now hate you because your name is now #3 on my highscore list? I liked the dual victory. It demonstrates when you are in absolute control of a game. Usually I stop playing when the outcome is that well determined. For the RPC angle, instead of a late cultural victory, perhaps dropping culture and science to Zero and accumulating the 4000 perturn as gold. That would be greed.

Now you can move up to warlord difficulty.

As a greedy bastard I would say I WANT MORE OF THESE GAMES!!! MORE! MORE I TELL YA!!!!

P.s. great win.

MS, how about a screenshot of your Wall Street city? (Scroll down on the bldg list so we can see the corps.)

Thanks!

Good point, I'll do this tonight once I get in front of the computer!

Great fun, Mad. Looks like third time was the charm!

I'm curious if you took advantage of US very much once you got the Pyramids. Did not seem as though you had any huge drop in cash reserves, so you must have kept whatever US spending you did do to a fair minimum.

Appreciate your taking the time to do these - and do them in such a timely way!

Glad you liked it.

US was used to rush but a market/grocer/bank and part of Wall Street in Barcelona for the corps. I may have rushed one catherdral last. Otherwise, Mansa just couldn't spend all that hard earned cash!

Remember, spreading corps cost alot of money, otherwise we could have had double or triple the gold we ended with.

Congrats, mad...

Now you should give a look at NC XI ;) You'll get a small surprise :p

I have already been watching it, and I am honored!!!! Now since this is GREED, there is a small issue about my commission!
