Role Play Challenge, The Next Generation: Sid Meier, The Civilized Tyrant

EPIC, Mad. Simply that.
I'll be looking forward to playing in your CivV RPCs (:

There is only one thing I can add to this game:
We're not worthy!

Thanks for the series, I'm going over the older ones now. And also thanks for the wonderful city. I don't want to add the mod for fear of disrupting my SGOTM playing, but it looked nice in the F1 screens.

Amazing game, and legendary series! I've loved the RPC's, and I'm thrilled to hear that they'll be coming back for Civ 5. Those RPC's and a laptop got me through many a visit to the in-laws!

...

Any chance you might want to kill some time doing RPC's for Fall from Heaven? :D

I also have a city! Thank you very much for this and your games! I have been following all of them closely and all I can say is: Wow, this is truly gigantic! :) Thank you!

I was wondering whether or not I would get a city, considering I've only posted a few times on these RPCs, though I have lurked through them all. Though I guess when you have 100 or however many cities, you're bound to get to everyone's name eventually :crazyeye:

Great game as always, and a great way to end the series. I love CIV, but there's no way I could have ever strung together this many games in a row over this long of a period of a time, while adding a theatrical element on top of that. Kudos on the entire RPC series.

I was so happy that there was a city for Lurkers but, lo and behold, for some reason I got one! Must have posted while sleepwalking or something, I need to cut on the coffee...

Congratulations for hosting such an amazing series of RPGs, I've learned a lot from your play, while have lots of fun from reading them.

* bowing deep in awe. There is nothing that can be said; the achievement speaks for itself far more eloquently than words ever could *

That. Was. Epic. Just finished reading it all; took me many hours just to go through all the game events and was well worth it. Talk about Macro Civ! And the finish definitely had style, particularly Cid's chest

Did you happen to use Automated workers? I'm thinking micromanaging would have taken 10 minuets per turn  .

Great game as always madscientist. It has been a pleasure reading your RPCs. I got a city named after me too but, in true RPC fashion, it was misspelled

Thankyou all!

MEtzi, I automated workers for the trade networks and I believe this also fixed pillaged resources (at least workers headed towards bombed oil). The only micromanagement of workers in the last half was rebuilding resources torched by Global Warming.

Hey! You gave me a city! Thanks a lot!

If I got it right, there will only be more RPCs for civ5 now, right? If that's the case, you could come up with some open rpcs for us in the meantime. Just throwing it out there... It would be a shame to be deprived of your mad mind for the time before civ5 comes.

Sidney, Actually any ideas I have are being kept in my head. There are already several leaders replayed in CIV 5 (Washington, Bismark, Elizabeth) that I have to dream up new ideas for although rehashing some old ones are possible (Mad Monty and his sacrificial alters).

Alot will depend on the actual rules and even more so how the leaders play out. Drowning the Iroquois in polution may not be an option and whether the Mahatma can effectively and entertainingly war-monger will remain to be seen. Each civilization has it's own set of rules it seams like.

One thing for sure, I plan to learn the game first, so do not expect RPCs the first month or 2!
