Philip ran up his castle tower steps, huffing on his way up. On the top, it overlooked the whole of Athens, and was placed on the hill outside of Athens. He reached the top, only to see his city in turmoil. Fires sprouting up everywhere gave off the color of rioting, and the people demanded that they be granted with a new president. The acropolis stood the only refuge, plus the tower, for government officials, as Philip watched the Government Mansion crumble under intense heat. The Presidential army guarded the areas with perserveriance, though some where tempted to turn and side with their breteren.

From atop, Philip signaled his army to focus the riot to the tower. Soon, it all became silenced.

"My People, I hear you. I hear that you demand more freedom then that is currently offerend by my associates and I. I Pray you, Hellites, crown me King of a new Monarchy, and I shall not have to answer to a lousy legislative, and I could grant you all the rights you want!" The people roared in applause, and the government is hence forth changed to a Monarchy.

my orders are the same as before

The Spartan army was of the highest quality in the world. Each man and woman grew up in an atmosphere of training for war. The army while powerful only could train troops from a small area no matter how highly populated. The order had come to set sail across the Ionian Sea to the Isle of Scilly.
The men had prepared for this voyage for many a day and as the last of the grey sail’s of Sparta disappeared over the horizon, the High King Therapne thought over the beginnings of Sparta.

Sparta was founded by Lacedaemon, son of Zeus and Taygete, who called the city after the name of his wife, the daughter of Eurotas. The city of Eurotas was now the capital of the Sparta realm and now covered a huge region. It was after a visit to the temple to Zeus that Therapne decided that the code of Sparta must be spared. A league of Greeks would ensure that each city-state would be able to keep its independence while preparing for the war against the Persians, which would surely come.


To all nations of Greece

A league of Greeks would ensure that we could defend ourselves and fight for the Greeks who live off the coast of Asia Minor.
