Rugby Union 2012!

F*cking Euros! I knew I had written something wrong.

I told a guy at work that Ireland was going to do a lot better in the second test, and he didn't believe me. Then they almost won!

On Argentina, i wonder how long it will be till they beat the All Blacks, i mean right now it seems a unlikely but they can't play them 2 or 3 times every year and not beat them eventually.

Not long, I think. At home of course, playing at NZ will take much longer.

On other news, Rugby Sevens are set to be featured at the 2016 Olympics!
There'll be a new stage in the 2012/13 World Circuit and Argentina's getting to host it apparently.

Tri-Four Nations Rugby Championship to start in a few hours.

Because rugby isn't just about kicking balls upfield. That's association football, man.

Three hours to Argentina's second match in the Tri Four Nations Rugby Championship against South Africa. They didn't do that badly last time.

I was being derisive towards Football.

btw, Argentine 13-3 up against South Africa 9 minutes into 2nd half. :faint:

16-16 and only because of a freak happening. I didn't expect this. Now, if the Kiwis and kangaroo-people would move to a decent time zone, I could watch all the matches live.

Proposed new names ;):
  1. The Unofficial Championship for World Rugby Supremacy
  2. The Southern Hemisphere Challenge
  3. The NewzAusArgSaff Rugby Championship
  4. The Tournament
I love the Guardian's readers.

Brave stuff by the Argies, even if they did get overrun in the second half. Who knows how good they can get after more games and experience.

It's odd how the Wallabies, despite all their troubles in recent years, have developed such a stranglehold on the Boks. At least that's something Deans can hang is hat on (few more losses against the All Blacks though and he's probably gone)

People here are ecstatic about having actually led against the All Blacks in an away (and, to boot, non-friendly) game, and conceding only two tries to lose 21-5. Now, really, could the Rugby Championship become The Rugby Championship?

Wallabies were very, very lucky to win there. Argentina played with such heart and passion, and constantly frustrated Australia, and pretty well deserved to win. That said, Australia was absolutely desperate not to lose, as it would have been the low point to an awfully tough year.

I got up to watch the game and my cable was down.

That said, Argentina has (will) come home with a point from Australia, and no team has picked up bonus points against them. :faint:
If this year's tournament was to be decided by how many tries people scored against the Pumas, think again…

What a cheap shot by Greyling on McCaw! Have you seen a worse one than that? ouch. That's a red card all day and I hope he gets 6 weeks on the sidelines.

Some bookmakers had the Boks as 7 - 1 outsiders going into this game, I don't think the ABs are that much of a favourite against them. I'm glad Morne is so crap, seriously, if he doesn't kick his goals then what is the point of having him in the team? The sooner they are rid of him the better for their chances imo.

Great second half in the wallabies and pumas game, Australia are lucky to get away with it. I thought that the pumas looked timid in the last 15 mins, like they just bottled it, stopped taking the game to australia and couldn't claim the victory. It was all there for them, they'll be upset to not win after playing an excellent game for 60 mins.

Quade cooper is a mong.
