Try your best to get Adam Smith, the savings will be very helpfull. It is not a max priority, there are better wonders, but cash will probably be something of a problem, especialy whan we run out of demanded goods, or need lux.
 
We’re strong/spotless (for now), have a half dozen items of infrastructure to support, 7 wonders, and too few camels, settlers and dips. We do have some space to grow into -- and should look into that (after the next set of wonders are in place.)

Rush a market for Tarsus; shields added for settlers in Pers & Arb (both planned to go the Tarsus) Toggle to 5.0.5 45 beakers a turn at current rates.

1300 (1) drop off a camel for 76. Toggle to 0.5.5 (let’s see if we can get Tarsus to celebrate -- looks like it; let’s see if it makes a difference.)

1320 (2) -- Celebration (for just Tarsus) is underway -- toggle to 0.4.6 & look at 65 beakers/turn.

1340 (3) -- Arbela settler merges into Tarsus -- now size 6. Toggle to 1.3.6, (+9-7 = 2 net coins/turn) 78 beakers/turn.

[Largest = Romans/Japanese/Vikings/Persians/Aztecs/Mongols/English -- maybe their two front war has an effect here.]

1400 (6) -- Pers settler arrives & merges into Tarsus -- now size 7. Toggle to 0.4.6 to keep the celebration going (81 beakers/turn) Give Theo to Egypt hoping for a gift in return -- nope. We’re now Moderate/Spotless. Talk to Mongols & swap Poly for Sea; buy a harbor for Tarsus.

(English discover Invention -- start Leo’s. they also trade with Vikes (who start Leo’s -- Az gets via GL & starts Leo’s) Silk (d) Gord to Teo = 136.

1420 (7) -- Danish espies Eng. boat+ offshore -- switches Settler to Cruc & rushes completion.)

1440 (8) -- Discover Phy & opt for TG over Bank, Chiv, Mag, WC, Wh (most of which are available through other civs. -- Mag ends the LH era & it would be better to accept that advance after a set of Leo upgrades.) Swap Phy for Inv with Az.

1480 (10) Toggle to 4.4.2 -- want a few extra coins for camels & wonder building.

1500 (11) Sam Silk (d) to Tex = 306 (now that’s more like it!) Seng blocked gold there as well for 78 (nobody else locally wants it.) Dip pops a hut for 100g.

1510 (12) Found Jinjan

1520 (13) Discover TG opt for Gun over AT, BB, Chiv, WC (all but AT are avail elsewhere) hut = Legion (Bactra)

(Eng discover Gun -- hmmm a target for a dip activity -- but we’ll need to “learn” the other techs that the English know so that the theft will be what we’re studying now…)

1540 (15) Antioch builds Leo’s (Eng & Vike’s abandon, Az switchs to JSB.)

Notes -- we have a bunch of camels in the central area -- can easily get Bach’s in a couple of turns -- since the Aztecs have been working this for a while recommend that we do this ASAP -- maybe even cash in some of the commodity camels (there are a number of food camels for wonders in the mix, but almost half are goods for trade.)

Three settlers are making their way east -- (now near Sam) I had thoughts of their irrigating the trees around Tarsus (someday) and having the two None settlers irrigate plains as a priority. We also might want to fill out some of the gaps on our rock & maybe settle a couple of the nearby islands.

Tarsus needs an aqueduct -- looks like the food box is full.
 
Seems pretty good, though I have yet to look at the save. A thought: we might want to try for Etower, we will need to trade techs with the others, and a good atitude will help very much. It will also giv us a bit of backstabing leeway, if the Aztecs want us to go to war. The tower is usualy useless, but as we need co-operation, every little bit helps.

Cpature Osaka with musket. You should get a caravle next turn. Pound the Osaken coast with the vet Irnclads next ot it. They sould even be able to beat non fortified muskets. I am building camels with tarsus, build one turn, rush 30, finish next turn.

Good work. I never thought that we would end up getting Asmith. Espionage will be good to get soon. Then all we need to do is to set up a city on a hill or mountain near a good resercher, defend it very well and steal techs from them. Upon looking around, I noticed that the Japs don't have city walls. I checked out the inteligence, and found that they don't have masonry. Their continent would be very usefull for a rail/ferry system to bring trade goods down south. I also wonder about Hover's posible effectivness on our producton, as our posible places for factories probably won't be that high, due to waste...

Around 12 hours later and the thunderstorm is over (if it wasn't I'd have been pretty concerned). DO NOT use the freight to build Darwin, the Aztecs are reserching Commi so the Freight is there to finish UN when it becomes available. You may want to get demo from somewhere, in order to get espionage faster. Of all possible cities, 12 out of 29 are celibrating. 40 lux is important, because of all the blackies; there is a city that has all happy people (size 4). You will notice that we have a factory, and there is one more place that could use one, but hasn't started building it yet.

Yes, and chivalry is the key. My 20s horsemen will upgrade to 60s cavalry with leo's. Three for the price of one... It is hard to beat that! When I think about it, we are not using martial law in too many places to keep order. I had considered making Dariush Kabir & the other city a barb farm, but Dariush was in a far to good position too loose.
 
Slow down boys. Pacifist general Golem did not want to start war against Japs - so Japs has started the war theirselves. Our Pearl Harbor is named Kyoto, where 8 dragoons units were killed.

But I have some good news too - we are curing cancer and our spies are the best in the world. UN is for democrats, not for the despots - just for short period I made embassies everywhere.

I have five more turns, so the results will be tommorow.
