Sadness Everywhere

I was more than a little embarrassed for America yesterday.

There umerous incidents of threats and attacks on Americans once again. In S.F., I believe, blood was splashed all over the entrance to a mosque (sp?).

A group of people in Chicago were intercepted as they marched on a mosque there. And they had the nerve to carry and wave American flags as they did so. The utter ignorance.

Meanwhile, I saw on CNN.com today that there was a demonstration in Palestine again. But this one brought tears to my eyes, as these people were waving American flags and praying for the victims.

Just goes to show that a 10 second clip shown on the news just can't be used to judge entire nations or creeds.

You're right Voodoo, it was shown on tv, but that wasn't everyone over there. I saw some people in Denver cheering the same though, and I already said if I saw or heard something like it again, they will get FROM ME what they are asking for. But this crap going on everywhere against people who find it as repulsive and terrible as any American has got to stop. It isn't the opinion of everyone. <br /> <br />But how does this all end? I am for revenge in the way that if someone hits you, you hit them back harder. But what do we do? Kill innocent civilians? Then we ourselves give birth to the new Bin Ladens of the future. I don't know. Short of complete genocide, this **** will never end. It will continue and it will grow in scale and violence. Next time, instead of planes, we might get hit with nerve gas, or napalm, or any myriad of biological/chemical warfare.

What to do? Ugh, I have had a headache since wednesday morning... And 12 extra strength tylenol don't help. I want my money back on the tylenol dammit. <br /> <img src="tongue.gif" border="0">

I really wish I knew. But I don't. This is just a bad situation, and there will be no good outcome. Nothing will satisfy everyone.

I got an email today...actually, a friend of mine here at work got it, and showed it to me...calling for a Christian Holy War!?!?!

Boy, doesn't that sound familiar. Christians, Muslims....no difference as far as I'm concerned. Neither preaches hatred and death, but both have time and again been used for those purposes. And I know there are people reading this thinking, yeah, but the muslims are worse. You are being naive and closed minded to believe that.
