Safe spaces for everyone?

Oh lol.

Right-wingers don't care about being "criticized". It's when you guys start shouting over people, attacking people, try to get events shut down, try to get people fired, try to doxx people, and try to get people arrested for "hate speech" that the problems come into play. Your attempt at equivalence here is pretty cute but you're not fooling anybody.

Let us not forget that they also call everyone they disagree with a Nazi or a racist no matter which topic is actually being discussed. It is a really pathetic trend here in the US.

Would you call someone a Nazi if they thought that the white race was in danger of being destroyed by a Jewish conspiracy to import non-whites into white nations?

I think we both see who the REAL fascist is here, free-speech hater

A "Nazi" is a national socialist. National Socialists have very clear defined goals, they even have a party platform outlined which you can look up. Unless someone wants to implement that platform, no it doesn't make any sense to call them a Nazi.

Of course what you really mean when you call someone a Nazi is that they want to gas six million Jews, which I mean...

Of course. The problem has never been with calling actual Nazis Nazis but with calling lots of people who are not Nazis Nazis.

That has been the go to game played by large segments of the American left for some time and it is getting worse. Absolutely anyone who disagrees with them on just about any issue for any principled reason what so ever gets called a Nazi or a racist with nothing to back it up. It has become tiring and meaningless.

If only there was some sort of pattern to all this.

That really makes me question whether Nazis are even a product of the natural world. Maybe they're some sort of spiritual entity that manifests as our fear and our hatred grows, kind of like the Sha in World of Warcraft: Mists of Pandaria.

I do think "ethnonationalist" is the better term, for lots of reasons. I know it lacks some of the force of "Nazi," but at the same time "Nazi" has lost a lot of its force from over use.

Now the American ethnonationalists who carry swastikas should be called "ethnonationalists so extreme they are willing to identify with the abhorrent German National Socialists who gassed six million people." There you want to get the term Nazi in the mix.

People who lose are more likely to believe in conspiracies. I've also noticed who seems closer to reality in their posts has changed with the fortunes of their identities in the macro environment. It's really weird stuff.

"Large segments?" How large, and how did you measure?

It is extremely common and pops up all the time on forums and in real life. Even in this very thread. If you are demanding some sort of systematic study then I am sorry but I do not have that but that would be an absurd requirement as you no doubt already know.

Just goes to show how soft and pampered Americans are. "Safe space" sounds like somewhere you'd take refuge during a war but no, "safe space" now means somewhere where no one will disturb your circle-jerk.

No wonder people are yearning (and voting) for self-destruction.

For the record, if members of a group use "Nazi" hyperbolically to refer to reactionaries in general, and then later uses the word "Nazi" in the literal sense of Hitler-loving white supremacists, and you refuse to permit that there could be any difference in how the world has been used in each situation, then you're the idiot. Not them. You.

I'd think the 'idiot' would be the one using the word to describe 'reactionaries' in general... Kinda like calling left wingers commies.

That comic is weird. Do people who believe in that sort of conspiracy theory not usually just think that everybody else is brainwashed and that they're the ones who have found some enlightenment that other people just don't understand? Last time I heard the "Who hurt you?" was by Christians, when Atheism gained traction in online spaces such as Youtube.

Everyone wants their safe spaces. I think conservatives just get upset when liberals take away their safe spaces. They now took away the boy scouts for boys to be comfortable being boys. Though to be fair, that was decided by the organization itself, and not forced upon them. I'm not on either side of the issue because I don't care about safe spaces, and I don't need them. My house is my safe space. Long as liberals don't try to seize my house to give it to more deserving people, I'm okay with them. Thing is, that is something that could happen in our future as many see the ownership of property as immoral.

So it kinda looks like everyone needs their own safe spaces. Do you think every side deserve safe spaces?
When I was your age, we didint have "safe spaces" and special snowflake SJWs.
