All items which I wanted sometime throughout this year but never got round to buying for myself.

-some pajama pants (I go through them fast, so this is a yearly tradition)
-socks
-a lot of candy
-a sweet hat from the girlfriend
-$40 bucks in gift cards
-the promise of a hand-knit sweater (I just need to be sized)
-this stuffed polar bear (to match a poster of mine)
-assorted tea
-a delicious meal
-the company of family

• American Airlines gift certificates
• A trip to Vegas that my fiancee' and I gave to each other. Sounds like I'm paying for that gift and could turn into the gift that keeps giving.
• Monopoly (my dad thinks that's funny since I accuse him of cheating at the game)

• A leather coat
• boxers and socks
• some deoderant
• a bottle of whiskey
• oh and a cup for tea

All the essentials basically.

About 5 Horrible History books (very excellent history books written for kids, but are still excellent for 18 y,o me)

Last spring I bought one horrible history book: Bloody Scotland.
I laughed through the book

I also got a new pair of slippers, which are on my feet as I type this.

Man, I forgot how handy those things can be.

* The Great Deceiver (a 4-CD King Crimson boxed set)
* Orphans (new Tom Waits triple-album)
* A Pink Floyd poster
* 2 x pyjamas
* A small art-book about Breughel
* "Multi-tool"

Plus the promise of 1300 norwegian kroners (~ $224) being put into my bank account.

I'm most happy about the King Crimson. Great live stuff from 1973-74.

Damn I forgot about those. I also am sitting and typing in a brand new pair of slippers. I think they are leather too.

I don't understand why people dislike getting clothes, it just means that you don't have to go and by them yourself.
