SAT (or ACT, GCSE etc)

I took the SAT today. I feel good about it, which probably means I failed miserably.

Anyone else with scores or stories regarding these tests?

I took the SAT I about 4 times for practice before High School. Did ok on them.

And then the SAT II came out...

I actually just got my SATII MathIIc results back Thursday from the test a month ago. 800! perfect score (Although it should be noted the test has a pretty heavy curve.)

I was going to say "more than", then changed it to "almost". Well, it was nevertheless embarassing. Anyway, I accomplished that by doing each math section at approximately 1/5 of the time alotted, and that particular test happened to have one extra experimental math section. My highest combined score is 1510, 800 math 710 english.

I was just glad that my score meant that I wouldn't be taking the damn thing again. And the fact that it was good.

Well for the bartending academy it isn't strictly necessary to take the SATs, although they do consider it as part of your application if you choose to take it. I didn't though. You have to take a general enterence exam though that is REALLY hard. I mean seriously, the people in my classes who have taken both the SATs and that test say it is way harder. The SATs is just about reasoning, whereas the enterance exam is reasoning + knowledge.

I got a 30 in the math portion of the exam.

But did poorly in grammer and in science(Lower 20's). I guess I must have been too tired. I came late on the day for the ACT's while being all tired. Damn stupid wording of a sentence...arrghhh and reading the science material!!! Oh well...

I didnt take the SAT's though.

Got a 1900. My best score was in critical reading, which I got >5% percentile.

Got scores from the October SAT on the 2nd. I got a 2200. On a 1600 scale (math and verbal), I got a 1540. I'm 15 and a senior.

I hate myself.

I took the SATs once a year for five years. In order, my scores were: 1500, 1520, 1540, 1560, 1570.
