Here's a Trading Post image from the Destructoid video with tile yield.

Note that the graphic is different, probably from an earlier era. The date for the shot is 820 AD, and it's on a jungle-covered hill.

This probably means that trading post graphics simply change with the era, like quarries (and maybe mines?) currently do.

Didn't trading posts already change in appearance? Except that it was really subtle.

The trading posts did already change in appearance. But no, it wasn't subtle at all. Ancient trading posts looked like a "medieval" fair, while modern trading posts looked like some kind of sad mining village.

Trading Posts are now unlocked with Guilds (a new Medieval technology that follows Currency), so that probably explains why we haven't been seeing them in the mostly Ancient/Classical screenshots.
