Screenshot analysis!

I figured it might be tricky because of the movement. It will be nice when you can just pull them from the envoy screen. But only the most recent livestream build has them there.

Lol, I never noticed Amsterdam's logo is XXX. What are they trading over there?

It's based on Amsterdam's local flag, three St Andrew's Crosses set horizontally.

We also can see at 00:45 seconds of this video, in the city states messages that Chartage is also a city state, without no doubt plenty of the city states of vanilla will come later as civs, good that we already starded looking at the symbols and unique bonus about how they could be replaced/become the ones of another city state

The is the current list by type:

4 Trade: Amsterdam, Jakarta, Lisbon, Zanzibar
2 Religious: Jerusalem, La Venta
3 Scientific: Geneva, Hattusa, (Stockholm)
3 Cultural: Kumasi, Nan Madol, Vilnius
4 Industrial: Buenos Aires, Brussels, Hong Kong, Toronto
2 Militaristic: Kabul, Preslav

18 city-states. Feels like there should be 6 more so all have four.

Based on what MarcosQuadros just pointed out, Carthage is likely a militaristic city-state based on the notification text.

I hope they have a lot more than that. It was irritating in Civ V to have essentially the same list of city-states in every game. It was harder to remember which ones were on whose side in this particular game.

On the other hand, with truly unique city-states it's harder to make a lot of them and keep them interesting.

It'd be neat if there's at least one naval focused militaristic CS, and Carthage could be a good choice. Maybe a suzerain bonus of also extending its production boosts to harbors as well as encampments?

I thought I remember someone saying somewhere that there would be 25 city states. Maybe they only said "around 25"...

If this is old news and I just missed it, sorry, but at about 47.06 of the Montezuma Gamescom video, the Firaxis person states that walled cities get a ranged strength equal to the strength of their strongest ranged unit. Since they don't have any ranged units at that point, they get the slinger, which is what shows up when the city "disappears" as it fires on the barbarians.

Didn't see this discussed anywhere - did we see any hint/confirmation that it will be possible to move traders among cities like it was in Civ5? There doesn't seem to be that option anywhere in the old build, and also in last FL video. It might mean that traders can only "work" for city which built them.

Pretty sure there's a button via the Unit Panel, just like in Civ 5.

Second one from the left, most probably. :)
Establish Trade Route - Change City - Skip Turn - Sleep - Dismiss

More interesting is the icons around the main pending action (in this case, "Choose Research"). Probably indicating other pending actions, replacing the huge buttons at the bottom of the notification list from Civ V.
