Screenshot analysis!

In the great people screen it looks as if the great prophet points are just wasted after you found a religion (or worse, after you go for a religion and fails). That seems pretty strange to me.

I think it's fair to say we don't know exactly what is going on with respect to this mechanic: especially because wonders like the Hagia Sophia and the Mahabodhi Temple require you to have founded a religion, but give GPPs (see http://well-of-souls.com/civ/civ6_cities.html#wonders). It's possible that at some point Great Prophets can feature like Great Generals but for theological combat?

I agree. Particularly since 2 Wonders require you to have already founded a religion, but award Great Prophet points.

Commerce hub only get the river adjacency once for each river. It do not get an adjacency bonus for each river tile.

Remind me, how do we know for sure? Have we seen it not work that way in a gameplay video? I actually captured the Commerce hub tooltip yesterday from the livestream and it says two different things - in the Adjacency description it says major gold bonus for each tile edge containing a river, then below it says +2 gold for each adjacent river, which seems like two different things.

From a coding standpoint I slightly doubt they can recognize whether each tile edge is part of the same river or not, unless rivers are also named. A binary yes/no of is it touching a river is easy, but then if you do manage to get a commerce hub in between two different rivers, will you actually get +4?

It say river not "river tiles" or whatever tiles that are adjacent to rivers are called. So it is actually correct that you get the bonus only once for each river.

They may have something for great prophet points but it maybe only come online later in the game, maybe after all religions are founded. Then you can maybe purchase great prophets for relics or something.

For me, the most logical use of Great Prophet points is apostles generation.

I would tend to agree (that it would make sense), but nothing to that effect has been shown as of yet.

Relic generation with great prophet points would also work. There definitely needs to be some use for them after you found a religion, though.

You can see that from dev's gameplay:

I hope that there is some further use for GPS. In the last stream Ed said you can build Apostles, so GPP would not be the primary means of acquisition for Apostles.

We know that Apostles are acquired from Temples by spending faith.

Aha, thanks very much, I see the +3 spot that would otherwise be +7 if it was tile edge.

That's a slight bummer, I was looking forward to scouting out bends in rivers. I hope if there's ever a spot near the coast between two rivers that you actually get +4 for 2 rivers, considering the tooltip says each river, but we'll see, and I think there's more important issues ha.

Problem with relics is - you have limited capacity to store them.

We don't know if it's the only source.

I really love this trade route diversity.

I also find interesting that we can somehow get food from Washington, because of some district. Normal guess would be aqueduct, but I can't see one on the map (although there is probably one).

Am I blind or this trade route screen doesn’t show the leaking of science (…) by establishing a trade route with a less-developed civilization, and it also appears that religious pressure through trade routes is not a thing anymore. Can someone confirm that?
