Having drugs in the game? Not going to happen.

indeed I doubt they would even risk Hemp, the costs astronomically out way the rewards

But we already have Wine. :D Not the most hardcore of drugs, but then weed isn't either.

But yeah, obviously they won't actually add weed to the game. Or to agree with gcm4738 - not YET. :D

I hope they change the style of the barn to at least reflect the archicture of the civ. A straw roof barn is going to look very out of place in the middle of Japan.

There are plenty of shacks like that all over the Japanese countryside even today.

They even didn't want "religion insensitive" resources in the game ("better call those pigs 'truffles'!")
Although they did have cows, though. Apparently the Muslim/Jew-lobby is more powerful than the Hindu-lobby :p

Actually, truffles are a kind of mushroom tuber, and pigs were traditionally used to sniff them out.

I'm just saying that I don't think you can win a diplo victory in real life by nuking people, unless you have a...liberally applied definition of "diplomatic" and "victory".
Gunboat diplomacy bro.

They also have Wine which I believe is forbidden for Muslims and Mormons.

I dont think there was a special reason behind it for not having pigs, I guess they just wanted to reduce "basic ressource-clutter", similar reason why there was no corn or rice. On the other hand, there was need for another camp-luxury, so truffles. :p

I mean, truffles are one of the most luxurious and expensive resources, more than qualified as a luxury in the game, and there's no good way to represent them on this kind of scale. Pigs make as much sense as anything else.

Yeah a graphic of underground mushrooms probably wouldn't look that great, haha.

I'd anticipate seeing tobacco before hemp. I wouldn't personally mind any of them, but understand why they'd avoid some of them.

Civ II Fantastic Worlds had underground resources. Not sure about mushrooms but they did have Bat Guano! :D

Also hoping they'll bring back the Peat resource. By gar, it's been awhile.

also those ratings could come from information in the civiliopedia, which is what happened last time

Yeah you shouldn't tell children about history !

God , the decline of our civilizations (the real one not the game) sure takes many form.

Bat Guano?

Hot damn, now I know what to mod into Civ VI :D Assuming it possible, but it was doable in CiV I think so I don't see why not!

Provided Civ VI isn't a dud, I'll be looking forward to playing your mod. :D
