I was this close to buying Anno 2070 because it's on the sale. Not sure when it will be cheap again, so not sure if I should punt for it.

Finally low graphics that don't look like total garbage. Those are about what the average RTS from a few years ago or so looked like, or your average xbox 360 game

S.T.A.L.K.E.R: Call of Pripyat
Tried to capture some of the nice light-rays at sunset here, but didn't quite capture it.
Here you can see the iconic Pripyat ferris wheel to the right and Chernobyl NPP itself (I think) on the left. For some reason the distant objects are slightly transparent though.
Psi-storm. Thought the little tunnel thing to the right in the first image would shelter me. Turned out I was wrong, had to huddle down, take some anti-psi drugs and munch first aid kits like doritos.
The Stalker series has such an excellent atmosphere, especially the sound when exploring, constantly wondering what that sound you just heard was and the excellent suspense music and ambient sound is the best I've experienced. Sometimes I swear I can hear a baby crying in the distance. Not sure if it's the game or my imagination

Edit: The Psi-storm pictures turned out so cool, here's a blowout.

Yet another Minecraft oddity from me. For some reason, lava refused to flow into the tile of this villager, leaving him safe while the lava bubbles all around him. Best example of Convection Schmonvection ever?

I just HAD to share these latest pics. My heart stopped for a second when I called in my first naval bombardment; I felt so sorry for my enemy. Up until that point they were giving me a good run for my money - flanking my sharpshooters, destroying my artillery on the wings with cavalry - but their downfall was huddling their soldiers together in a tight area... complete carnage is the only descriptor that can possibly be used. Just look.

Sorry, ImageShack was playing up for some reason. Can't you click to get a bigger picture?
I could... but I don't particularly want to, especially not for four or five images that will still be too small to see and require opening new tabs and windows from imageshack to zoom.
