This was another interesting little CKII bug; apparently my two year old granddaughter got a nickname as a result of her immoral behavior:

Empire Total War w/ DarthMod

Ah yes, the highly intelligent siege AI Creative has been using from Rome 1 to 2, sending in one unit at a time and its cav to their deaths. The cav never made it past the second row of stakes.

So apparently the other inbred monkey programming the fortresses at CA missed out on a little bug where this tiny little gap makes it impossible for your units on this 'island' thing to retreat back over the bridge. So they are stuck there until artillery destroys the building or in this case they actually send a unit to scale the wall and kill them.

Neat background shot, too bad the foreground is filled with a bunch of brainddead AI.

I had to play this stupid battle twice because it crashed the first time, half way through >_<

I marched through and took four regions from the Ottomans before they... well I don't know. It still took several turns after I captured Instanbul before they showed up with a FEW units on the other side of the channel. I did not encounter a SINGLE unit defending their European holdings. Then they eventually attacked with this army...

To the AI's credit, since all four gates started off destroyed for... some reason I have no idea why, they did use the other two 'side' gates to attack me. Too bad it was too to send more than one unit through them (both archers, all their archers just tried to charge into melee too, although given how apparently DarthMod has nerfed archers into uselesss that was probably the better choice). The entire rest of their force was sent one by one (for the most part, the reinforcing army did sent in several at once at one point) to their deaths.

I played some games

Take on Mars is improved than last time I tried it, but still wasn't really pulling me in. The improvements are more content and less confusion, but the controls seem kinda wonky.. there's other problems with it too, but they're still working on it, so I'll check back in a couple months. I think the controls are weird because it's supposed to convey how tough it is to control stuff on other planets and how hard it is for astronauts to get around, but during my time playing I felt that they only achieved a bit of this effect.

IL-2 can actually be prettier than Warthunder despite its age, as long as your altitude is high enough.

I think I am now officially addicted to Train Fever.

I have finally gone through enough trial games to figure out the basics of the game.. they are quite quirky, but once you get used to them, this game is basically what I'd expect from a worthy successor to Transport Tycoon.

Here you can see my 4 rail lines connecting 4 cities, each city with a bus (err actually carriage atm) line, and one of the cities with an oil/goods route (the yellow one). The contour lines on the map are optional - makes it easier to figure out where to place rail lines. The map is quite large - there are a lot of towns and industries. Each town grows dynamically, and gets more dense, as in TT. The game starts in the mid 1800s.

Each person is an object who has a residence and a job, and each city has distinct zones (residential, commercial, industrial, rec). I'm loving this sim.

Back in Morrowind.

I took some Skooma in Skyrim, I'm assuming its either Requiem or Realistic Needs that changes the effects but holy that was a bad idea to use in the middle of a fight.

I died.

So I made a throwaway character in Oblivion just to test out some mods, and I decided to make one of those real ugly Oblivion faces. Well, it's probably not close to the worse possible, but it's still pretty disgusting in my opinion (if it's hard to tell, the character is supposed to be an Imperial male):

Kinda reminds me of some sort of horror movie creature.

Anyways, thank goodness this is just a throwaway character.

Oblivion is a game that has not aged well.

Eh, I think it's just the faces that are problematic. Do also note that I'm running the game at approx. medium graphics, vanilla on high/ultra graphics would seem pretty decent to me in this day and age, and with graphics mods I daresay it would even surpass vanilla Skyrim in some respects.
