1. Ask Blizzard. Maybe to look more cool and powerful. He's sp huge also in WC3. And also Blood Elves are tall. And I think that Thrawn has drunk a Tanaris potion (that from Gadgezan) that can make him small.

2. Tempest Keep, The Eye! A citadel/space ship made by the Naarus (or Naaru, I think there's no plurar) for the Draenei. Kael uses it to feed his hunger for magic.

I couldn't resist the temptation any longer *sigh*

Tillothy the mighty (well, soon) sorcerer, in his first battle.

It's BG1, running with the BG2 engine. The plan is to play through the whole saga. Progress has been less then satisfying thus far, however. Don't underestimate a bunch of gibberlings, when you lead a poorly equipped level 1 party, with spell-less wizards! Now i'm 200 gold down for resurrections. Bugger.
I could've sworn one of them was wearing a kilt...

It's arguably even better than the first part. You have less freedoms, but the story is more engaging, and the interactions with your party members (and their interactions with the game world) are unmatched. It really feels as if they have their own personalities and goals.

Some last screens from SilentHill2. I've finished it.

Is Baldur's Gate free roaming or just a set story.

Both. Althoguh it sounds like BGII is more story driven, (I havn't played BG1) and indeed there are a few parts where you're ability to roam around is constricted (Pirate Island/asylum, the underground/dark elf city). But you can take your time completeing the main story and there are a LOT of other quests so between the constricted areas you have a lot of oppurtunity to wander around.

Is Baldur's Gate free roaming or just a set story.

There is a main plot, but the game world is huge, and there are dozens of side quests available. You can visit most of the world regardless of your progress in the main plot. The most notable exception is the city of Baldur's Gate itself.

You can play Icewind Dale with just one character, but it's HARD.

Noone mentioned Planescape : Torment ?
One of the best RPG of its time, IMO.
Here's a screenie to keep it legal. The start of the game.

Worst. Game. Ever.

My conclusion is based on absolutely nothing since I've never played nor seen it.

Yeah, I heard its pretty good. Is it a one-char game?

It is excellent, the story is really, really good. Perhaps it won't be to your liking because its not a solo adventure, but the main character has a very strong... personality (and you can change class mid game).
If you want a solo RPG with a very good storyline (but far from heroic fantasy), you might want to try Fallout II. It's an RPG set in a post apocalyptic US. Some would argue that it's not a one-char game... But you stay solo for a big part of the game and the other members of your team are quite independent.
Btw, I heard Fallout III is due soon... Is this for real ?
