It's strange how most of the Romance options don't seem to change between different sexes of the Boss.

Is Saints Row 4 fun? After superpowers were announced I lost any interest in the game during its development, and it really doesn't look like much more than Saints Row 3.5.

Watching two different playthroughs on YouTube, and I had the same perception beforehand. Actually watching it though it does sort of present itself like a new game albeit in the same universe and location.

The game originally spun out of a planned $30 DLC for Saints Row 3 that exploded in development into an entirely different game, which is why some assets, especially Steelport, are reused.

Having said that, Saints Row 4 stands alone extremely well. There is some loss. I didn't drop more than a $100 in vehicle customization because super speed and infinite sprint are two early, easy powers and upgrades to get.

It plays almost nothing like Saints Row 3. The powers aren't tacked on, they're central elements of the game and once you mastered the glorious lightning telekinesis and fully upgraded Dubstep Gun or Bounce Rifle, you will need to knock difficulty up to hardcore.

In its own way, it plays out like a combination of [Prototype], Destroy All Humans, and Crackdown. Hell, there were some parts of the game that would fit in so well with the Destroy All Human setting that I could've swore the levels were ripped from a DAH game that just never made it out to public.

The interface looks dated, for the lack of a better word. You could have told me that was a mod for the original R:TW and I would have believed you in an instant.

I actually like it after getting used to it. Not a trouble to learn the interface.

I just fought with two 109Gs and a FW190 in the Hardest Day Mission, successfully distracting them from the Mosquitos killing all of the bombers :D I only had tiem to shoot one of them down, but I banged up the other two and didn't get scratched myself. Had a few close calls though!

It wouldn't be a TW game without ridiculously overpowered and cinematic artillery :)

So, do you see fish like that often?

Is there an ETA for that?

I've told my friend I'll get into Warthunder when they begin the combined arms thing they have planned, since wargaming.net is taking forever with theirs.

wargaming isn't going to have combined arms, BigWorld engine simply won't support it.

ETA: PS4 release (Nov.)
