In my current EU3 game my first king is in the 63rd year of reigning!!
And he got from 2 provinces to 86!!
Screenshot coming soon (I'm loading the game right now to post the screenie).
I think the game is beginning to get too boring. I want to kick the Ottomans out of Europe, conquer Muscovy and finally get Southern Italy from Aragon... For that I might need to conquer southern France, but I'll see... Then I want to expand my colonies and kick Castille's butt in North America, and maybe I will move on the Turkics in Central Asia... I'll see. I can do basically anything now but it's too much work to get it done as fast as I would want it.
Edit: yeah, took the screenshots, waiting for them to upload... they are quite big!

So unless you start right near it, you probably won't have to deal with it until very late, and then they will be so weak that they really won't stand a chance at all. In fact, I started only with 14 ducats, 2 crappy provinces with crappy units and infrastructure, 1000 men in the army and being a vassal of the Ottomans. But now I have something like 550k men in the army and an additional almost 100k manpower I can mobilize, almost 50k ducats and am planning on destroying those Ottos.
