Why thankee, and I don't remember how it got up there but it was either an admin or someone got noclip via RTD.

The Chinese Empire, August 1948, with HoI2 Armageddon with CCIP mod, full tech team takeover. China is Social Democrat, with Song Qingling as head of state. I set up a vast network of puppets to rule my conquered territories in the west.

Seems pretty impressive, which China are you? I am an absolute beginner at this game but am I right in thinking that you can't just declare war on whoever you please as a social democratic nation? Also, I'm guessing that the full tech team option really helped you out. No idea what CCIP mod is...

I believe that is the province with no land access.

Its actually the province to the north of it, as well as the one to the east of that one. (The Sand Seas). I think that particular province does actually have land connections.

CCIP adds extra ministers, events, etc for both Nat China and Comm China and also the warlords. Most events are post-Fading Sun events which the original game lacked, eg. the Chinese Civil War event chain, national reintegration (allowing Nationalist China to order the warlords to submit after Comm China was defeated. I was lucky in that all the warlords chose to submit rather than fight), and an event which upgrades the tech teams after China is reunified. There's also events that allow Nationalist China to claim lost Qing territories (which explains why Transbaikal didn't go to Siberia)

As for declaring war, my interventionism was high and I guarantee the independence of most nations in Europe and Asia, so declaring war on warmongers like Germany, Russia or Japan wasn't that much of a hassle. Getting Manchurian, Iranian and Soviet tech teams really helps as well.
