search method?

Why is not possible to use search only for civ4? Every time I try to search for some topic that has already been described I get search results from every civ game so far. I play civ4 and would like to filter search capabilities.

What did you search for that gave you results for anything other than Civ4?

You should be able to select the "CIVILIZATION IV", and make sure "Also search in child forums" is selected, and it should only search the Civ4 forums. Alternately, make sure this is unchecked, and it will only check the forum you select.

Why is not possible to use search only for civ4?

It could be (atleast i assume based on what you wrote) that you used the 'google search' instead of the other search option. use the 'Search' link marked with the red ! instead of the one with the ?.

If this is not the case it could be that you did not line what forums you meant to search. Go down the list of open forums in the right seach and mark the Civ IV forum of CFC that you want to search in.

Maybe it's time for us to remove that Google Search for forums, since forum search is enabled and I don't think we'll need to disable it again...

I'd like to make a suggestion...comment it out, and should we need to disable the search the google search could be reactivated rather quickly.
