second UU

Da Vinci Tank (Replaces Cavalry)

MUST BE FIRST TO LIBERALISM and the RENAISSANCE

16 STR 1 Move. Ignores first strikes, causes collateral damage.

The Da Vinci tank is also prone to breakdowns and has a 33% chance of not being able to move on a given turn. :)

What about the Four Horsemen out of Omens as an American UU? Obama thinks he's God anyway...

Oh...a cheap political shot. How naughty. Well, while we are at it... ;)

I'll propose a new unique technology, called "Reaganomics". It replaces Economics for the Americans, and causes you to lose your entire treasury upon discovery, and the game's inflation rate doubles. Otherwise, it functions just like the original.

On a side note from that, I reckon that being in recession should mean that you get riots. Then you can build Mounted Police to quell the rioters (I made UN unit which does that)

So recession would just be when you have -:commerce: in a turn? Even when your sliders are up to 100%? Perhaps a slightly more sophisticated system, taking into account the sliders. Possibly a recession could be when you have -:commerce: and your sliders are less than 50%?

But public spending is what prevents a recession, not what causes it. That is, spending money is consumption, and so boosts aggregate demand and economic growth. But, in terms of Civ 4, what do you mean by public spending?

UU2 for Spain.

Inquisitor:Is a unit that replaces nothing but has 7 :strength: , 1 :move: and is invisible.

As an alternative, Rhye's mod has a Depression event that affects Free Market economies with vast imbalances between your amount of hammers produced and the amount of commerce you are generating. This idea might be a better way to determine whether or not the event should trigger.

I am referring to the sliders. During this recession, we're cutting PS, hence my logic.
