Secrets of the Pharaoh

As Mafdet, God of Justice, I hereby pass a decree stating that Yahweh is purely a minor god and is not allowed to meddle in the affairs of the Spiritual Council.

Well, I promise I won't touch on that anymore (I can't even use words that don't sound extremely ambiguous in this grotesque situation).

That's why I put in spoilers, for us not be obliged to see this every time. It's a wikipedia entry BTW

Anyways that never has happened right Horus? This was communist greek conspiracy against us! Let's attack GREECE!

OOC: Of course! AoM was great. But I liked more AOEII

For once, I agree with Set :cringe: Reverse conquest!

Cool! I have all of the "Age of" games except for AoE Online.

I honestly don't know if we will go to a war with Ethiopia in the future. If we do go to war with anyone, I need it suggested by enough of you, and then passed in a SC decision.

Greece is accusing your people's gods unjustly. You should burn them!

OOC: I had never heard of AoE Online. I have just checked and it seems much like those browser "pretty" games. Actually I was disappointed with AoEIII. Too much beauty and not many game options. You had to stick to few civs, with few options, in a scenario with few diversity: "you may colonize North America, colonize South America, colonize Central America, colonize Insular America, force the natives to help you colonize America. Did I say you may colonize? And did I say America?" AoM IMO wasn't so good as AOEII, but it's purpose was different, and on it it was an amazing game. Gods Powers! That was awesome! And the campaign was great too.

Bad News Guys. The apartments diagonally across from us are burning and it's near a main power line. I'm not sure if I'll have electricity in the next few days so if I don't post you'll know I'm either dead or without internet. My Aunt barely got out alive.

Edit- What happened was earlier yesterday, some guys were working on the power lines. Apparently, they messed up when putting everything back so some power lines sparked and set four apartments on fire. My Aunt only recovered some medicine that was in her fridge. One guy's apartment completely collapsed. The other 2 people had everything they owned burned up. Someone's dog got stuck in an apartment but survived. Last I heard, the dog was at the vet from burns and smoke inhalation. Luckily, the fire didn't spread to us which I was afraid of because of the embers flying in the air and there being a natural gas pipeline near the fire. When I said I was diagonally across, I meant diagonally across the road. I was typing from my laptop so don't worry, I was being safe. I stayed up too late because of the situation and woke up at 3:00 P.M.

OMG man good luck! Give us news of your situation ASAP

Hey be safe! Don't worry about us just save yourself

I hope he can get away from that. This situation is horrible. Once I was walking to the beach to see my ex-gf in new year's eve (because she lived by the beach and I lived some blocks away) and then I saw some people in the window shouting FIRE! FIRE!.

At first I thought they were drunk or something, celebrating New Year. But it was still early (maybe 8 PM), so I got confused by that. After some time seeing this I realized they were shouting FIRE because the apartment right in front of them on the other building (across the street I was walking) was on fire as a thick black smoke was leaving the window. I only came to realize when I could see they were pointing towards the building on the other side of the street.

Imagine this in new year's eve? I have no idea if something bad happened, I think I got too drunk at the party that I forgot to see if any news about this had appeared in any media in the following day.

I believe that all the people living in cottages should deserve to experience the wonders of the Nille.

I vote for 1

One cannot even go to sleep, and these other bickering gods push a civilization forward and then burn down people's homes.

I vote for option 1. Also, when are we going to decide what civic we use from Stonehenge?

As I am god of wisdom (and finally of writing) i vote option 1.

By the way, we need pyramids! I need some parking for my starhips some temples where pharaohs can reach us.

Thebes had finished training Thebes's Bowmen, and now Egypt has their first division of archers protecting their cities. Egyptian monks also made a breakthrough on how to effectively train themselves to be priests. Now they could spread the word of Yahweh the Egyptian gods to other civilizations!

Also, to the north, the workers were still building a quarry on the marble. What the heck, workers, this isn't something new!

The exploring warriors had ran into a tribe of villagers that decided they liked the sound of Egypt and their benevolent gods, so they decided to become settlers for our land. The problem is the lurking pride of panthers nearby. These settlers would have to move around them if they were to expand to the southwest.

Giza had also finished training another division of workers, and now both cities Giza and Thebes were working on barracks.

Now learning how to master the use of iron, Egypt had entered the age of iron tools and armor, leaving behind their old bronze stuff. This was good, as Egypt was growing, advancing, and becoming feared.

Egyptian scientists (as they did not like being called researchers now for some reason), decided they wanted to find a way to better improve their building, and learn a way to better solve problems. They called this process mathematics, and would finish exploring that topic eventually.

SC Decisions!

Spoiler :
Now that we have Stonehenge, we have to choose what Labor civic to use!

Vote for any civic you want in the Labor column, except Tribalism.

Spoiler :
Also, we need to decide what to do next.

1) Build a new warrior in our new city to the southwest, Abydos, and then build a barracks
2) Cancel warrior in Abydos and build a scout, cancel the warrior exploration and bring the warrior to protect Abydos and use the scout to explore
3) Continue building more cottages to fix science output, as I could not get it up to 100% in the short time I had to make this update.

Voting will last for 3 hours. Sorry this is so short, I just have somewhere to be.

Couldn't you do 1 and 3 together? Also, can you post a picture of the labor column?

OOC: I'm worried with Donkey Kong Victor Martinez, any news from him?

Which are the Labor civics pharaoh? The same from vanilla BtS (so long I don't play vanilla RFC)?

Let's go for option #3. BTW stop making Warriors, you'll train useless soldiers now that you got Archers and you have a source of copper. It's like trying to win a boat race with a boat made of stone...

And where did you make Abydos? Was it in my Red Land (desert) Domain? If so you'll get lucky! Horus's black land (fertile soil) sucks! It'll only fill you with diseases!

I'll have a picture of the labor column once I get to a place I can play at.

Also I build warriors first since they take 15+ turns less to build than archers in new cities.

Also, this SC had to be done in a hurry, and 1 and 3 are kind of in a priority thing. If 3 wins, I'll do that first and then do more things, and the same for other decisions
