SelectSmart Religion Test

I've taken a relgion test before and got Unitarian as the best match. Perhaps it's a sign I'm really a Unitarian. :p

What do you consider yourself?

To join in the frenzy, im a member of a Mainline - Conservative Christian Protestant church, but I do disagree with there views on some issues.

The reason certain groups scored high in nearly everyone's test is because they are religions that preach tolerance as one of the fundamental virtues. I wish the world had this percentage of Quakers...

I'm technically a Cathar, but the test scored me:

1. Unitarian Universalism [100%]
2. Liberal Quakers [91%]
3. Theravada Buddhist [86%]

I'm like...nothing. I don't have a religion and I suppose I've been looking for one. I just don't believe there is a god or gods, so that limits my choices. I am spiritual, however, and I try to be a good moral person. Actually, I've found that I tend to adhere to some Christian ideals better than some Christian people I know. :hmm:

I'm not surprised, christianity contradicts it self in all sorts of ways (points to marla singers thread, and his/her museings on the subject) though if you should find your self interested in finding a more exact belife system, I could suggest an unusal fo r the times, but perhaps, at least IMHO, the best out there ;)

you know too much! I'm sorry, but we here at the Religious Society of Friends must now eliminate you!!!! :die:

Seems like most people, here should apparently be Unitarians, and Quakers.

Thats because Quakers are very tolerant and Unitarians are suppost to be tolerant (even though every one i've ever met were jerks would think they know everything).

Orthodox Quaker? :crazyeye: Don't know where that came from. Oh, and I'm not that surprised that Protestantism came above Roman Catholicism. I am a Catholic, but I think I'm a more liberal one than most...

What a load of crap this test is....... *scoff smiley*

This test is pretty ineffective because instead of asking you solely your stances on issues to find the religion you as a person would be most compatible with, it asks you what your stances on things like creationism.

Wreaks havoc on agnostics' scores :p.

Before taking this test, I had never even heard of Bahá'í. But it seems to most closely correspond to my beliefs, even more so than Sikhism. Very interesting...

Apparently I'm 100% Quaker, and in 2nd spot, 94% Mainstream Protestant. 2nd spot hit the nail on the head, but I'm wondering who these 'quakers' are...
