First Pack was America
Second Pack is Africa
I would suggest third pack be Asia.

I Understand Nuke-Gandhi is to Civilization as Pikachu is to Pokémon, but.
I guess India is underrepresented.

First an Alternative Leader to Mongol Empire, Akbar.
I guess will be very exciting a discussion about the relationship between Mongols and Mughals.
Why isn't the same?
Akbar also teach about tolerancy, I Guess it is something very beutifull in Mongol philosophy, they don't destroy the culture of the land they conquer, but mix with it.
Countries so diverse as Russia, China, India and Persia can speak about Mongol heritage;

Second, Malik Ambar from Ahmadnagar Sultanate.
India have thousand of Sultanates and I never saw any Sultanate in this game. I would like to suggest one who also can fit nowaday's street claim for racial justice.
Malik Ambar is a Oromo, an animist society in Ethiopia who was enslaved by Muslim and Christian Africans.
Arrived in India as slave and dies as a quasi-Sultan in Ahmadnagar. And avoid all Mughal invasions while he lives.

Only pack giving an alt.leader is pack number 4, so it could be an Asian pack.

Pack 3 includes a new map, there is already map of east Asia so the new map could be of the middle east.

Akbar would definately be a cool leader!

India could be broken up into several Civs quite frankly, India is as specific as saying Europe.

The Mughals were the descendents of Turkified Mongols who became perzianised and called themselves Gurkanis (Son-in-Law) since every mongol ruler had to be related to the Great Khan one way or the other. By the time of the mughals they had adopted a form of Afghan-Indian-Persian-somewhat turkish identity which was fairly common.

The Mongols did not mind destroying anything that became a nusance like the Tangut, Samarkand or Baghdad and much of later tolerance towards the settled people was thanks to native administrators like Yelu Chucai or Shams al-Din. On that note I would like to see the Khitan in the game.

Akbars tolerance likley came more from a realization that the increased tolerance would make the empire easier to rule, increase his influence with the Rajput and undermine the Ulema who often served as a power behind the throne much like most clerical administrators.

Indeed the Habshi/Siddi could be a special unit

Third pack comes with a new map. We already have Asia, the three most likely map additions are some sort of America map, some sort of Africa map, and a Middle East map.

I'm going to bet we don't get an Africa map until/unless we get the Berber and Swahili coasts filled with some civs; otherwise it's pointless. Plus, we just got Ethiopia in the previous pack.

There is a possibility we could get the Timurids/Mughals and Oman, along with a Middle East map. I think the Timurids are more likely than the Mughals for several reasons, and while I would prefer the Swahili, Oman would be fine as a substitute.

There is also a small chance that we get Portugal and a western American civ (Navajo, Apache, Tlingit), plus an American map.

I really would like to see Africa again, but as Africa is this month Pack (With Ethiopia) I don't think it will have more leaders this year.

I guess Swahili civilization can be better represented by more city States, I guess would be better to choice more Root-African nations, as some of West-African-Kingdoms.
We already have Mali from West Africa and one city State as Kumasi. I would prefer to see a Yoruba or a Fon CIV in next Africa Pack.
Fon civ as Dahomey, with the Amazon warrios. Or the Yorubas with a mithological king as Oduduwa or Shango and many faith bonus.

It's Pack 5 with a new civ and new alt. leader. :)
I'm pretty sure it will be an East Asia Pack.

I am kind of predicting that this next pack will be focused on the Middle East/Mediterranean so I'm expecting Assyria or Babylon to show up again and the Byzantines, only because of the new map type.
Though there is the small possibility that we could get an African Map if they decide to release Portugal and Morocco in pack 3.

The North African coast still might get a Civ with either Morocco or the Berbers, but I do think that's it for Sub-Sahara Africa.
They also did just add Taruga, from the Nok culture in Nigeria as a science city-state.
Actually at this point I think Abomey could make a good city-state if they gave us the Amazon warriors as UU, for the suzerain bonus.

While I wouldn't be unhappy with something along the Guinea coast at some point, Mali already rides pretty low on western Africa and we have two city states tucked up in there. I would much prefer that we get something Berber like Morocco or Numidia on the northern coast first before we start trying to fill in that crook.

But you're right, I would be (pleasantly) surprised if we got more Africa in NFP. Typically we've gotten one "African" civ, and one "Middle Eastern" civ per pack (Zulu/Georgia. Mali/Ottomans), so it is possible that Morocco or Oman/Swahili could appear. But I'm not getting my hopes up.

I would love to see Nelson Mandela as President of the Republic of South Africa (and Mary Queen of Scots for Scotland)..
South Africa Civ will be very trick. Let's start to think, witch Unique Unit it should have? Something linked with Zulu heritage or Boer-Afrikaner heritage?
Also, Nelson Mandela is neither Zulu or Afrikaner, he is a Khoisan. That make it even more weird.
BUT! If this game made South Africa Civ, I would like to see it as India. A very pacific Civ who become the Nuke-Crazy guy in modern era.

Abomey become a City-State can be a good solution to another issue. Dahomey was the biggest slave trader in human history, that can't be erased in his history and I don't think the Western Society is already prepared to really speak about Trans-Atlantic Slave in XXI century.

But, as Dahomey Empire united 4 kingdoms (Abomey, Allada, Ouidah and Cotonou) and Toussaint L'Overture was a Allada prince, it mean we can have L'Overture as leader of both Haiti and Dahomey. I would love it .

Ps. If Dahomey come as a City State, I would vote to Ouidah because it works more as a City State than Abomey.
