Sex+humor is the ultimate combination for an ad.
I'm more likely to appreciate the ads that are self-deprecatingly funny or skewer advertising stereotypes or attitudes towards sex. The linked ad is pretty funny for that reason.
The worst ads that use sex are the ones that use it truly exploitatively, and don't seem to realize the irony or subtext of that use. The GoDaddy ads that always air around Super Bowl season are a good example. They're just straight-out vulgar and annoying.
Anyway, most young people are so inured to advertising, and especially sex in advertising, that it can't really affect what they buy, can it? I know advertisements never affect my shopping decisions.
