Sorry for keeping you guys waiting but I did the First one mostly before actually beginning to play and it took me while with all the screenies and stuff...

Possibly important I noticed this with me upgrading the Gems with Gandhi. Even if just doing Gems for 13 GPT he was willing to throw in the DP. Dont know if that matters, but hey.... I had better leave that to the team ;)


The missionary is on his way to that left boat, inside that boat is another Missionary (other religion) and a worker that need transporting. The right boat is on its way to our Judist holy city to get some defence to there just in case FDR may declare... Look at what he has still got there....


Hyderabad is now down to 61% of of 65 at the start of my set. So by the time this comes back to me it should have flipped....

I know graphs dont say THAT much really but WTH is up with Gandhi?

And notice that FDR has probably trigerred a GA....

And finaly something on our general condition... toward victory and something funny... (or I think)

I forget to upload the save... but here it is

and a couple more things to report
1) in 1655 I MM Thebes to get the bank the next turn instead of the turn there after. On getting that bank we jump from +302 to +367gpt
2) Gandhi completes the Kremlin in Delhi in 1664
3) We are still in 'peacefull build mode' ie. still the civics I revolted to....
4) We have now 2 missionaries to bring to Thebes, third is on its way. Think about spamming some missionaries and/or Monastaries
5) Steel is about to come in in 4 turns at -360gpt or something rediculous like that (I forgot the slider when the fighting began, so we have 1500 and some in the bank, but the slider should be at 100% now)

Good going on taking out the main offensive of Saladin! ChrTh is right, should be mop up from here on.


(I forgot the slider when the fighting began, so we have 1500 and some in the bank, but the slider should be at 100% now)

That's the one reason I don't like "binary research"... it's a level of MM that can be forgotten when something happens, i.e. get in the heat of battle. Since we've got so much in the bank, at least we can run 100% for awhile.

Cultural is enabled, iirc, but remember, this is Epic so it'll require 75000 culture.

I see no reason to leave Saladin exiled as he can't give us any real tech benefit.

Since a Civ can only be in one PA, unless we PA with Gandhi (in which case we wouldn't need to Backdoor Dominate--straightup domination would be likely, I reckon) we'll still have 3 Civs for a vote.

Of course, we can no longer enter a PA anyway, and I suspect that will be true for the rest of the game. Scratch that, I misread something namliaM wrote. I suspect we'll be in this situation shortly, though.

Main reason is I wasnt going to be building any units for a bit, so Police state is one big waste (no more WW either). I thought Unisuff was the best choice + it helps our bureuacratic capital, which has some Towns. I think one of the problems we are having is particularly that, not enough towns. Take Moscow (again) to many cottages, no towns :(

No I didnt check the gem trade before, only at the start of my 'real' set. DP go out the window tho after declaring war offcourse...

But offcourse, what else? Our blood? For losing 1 longbow? and 1 Knight? Have you never had such a big fight in one turn? If there are enough dead in a couple of turns near a river the game colors the river red...

We could fall just short, IIRC we are missing some 10's of gold. But Like I calculated, doing binary I could have gone 0science (near) all my set and still got Steel in the same turn.

Thebes is our #1 researcher, as specially now in Bureaucracy. If we spread the word there, it can build some Monastaries for more Beakers AND can build some missionaries for our homeland. In particular because Thebes is our main producer as well (again also due to Bureaucracy)

IIRC, I scheduled WestPoint at Thebes as well. Dont know if we want/need it. Thebes will run out of things to build relatively soon if we decide not to build Westpoint.

Oddly enough the AI dont know how to spread religion either, so some towns in HC country still need Taoism and need to be Confused. As well as a Bank and stuf in our holy city.

I left some signs in the game, chop a forest thats outside of any city cross and I think we should build 2 Mills in our second city (forget the name, the Horse town North of Thebes), it gains us 2 food. Which would allow us to work the tundra forrest (which offcourse should be Lumbermilled...)
 
Ghandi's GNP boost? Try a shrine suddenly being built... add on any revenue increasing buildings in that city... well boom there's a wad of cash!
 
Gandhi only has 1 religion, and that shrine was only build during my set.... No.. I think Gandhi got wize and started to work some cottages or something...

Maybe he got wize and finaly build some libraries or something? I dont know, but wow what a sky rocket... Lets follow him into the skies :)

Therefore it seems to be close to impossible for Gandhi to gain cultural victory. Though I don't know how many :culture:points a Great Artist will contribute. But even then ... That doesn't seem likely.

Next tile to flip (due to :culture:) might be the copper NE of cyrus' town on your home island. It's down to 50% persian :D.
Oh and - minor detail - there are Clams in the BFT of Basra, next to your galleon, that are volunteering on being pillaged :p

I've been thinking hard about the UN since last night. The question is: do we want to build it?

1) If Gandhi builds it, we'll be forever in votes against him; unless we can somehow get FDR to vote for us (either peacefully or us conquering him) we can't win diplo
2) If FDR or Cyrus build it, we win pretty much automatically
3) If we build it, and we can get FDR to have more pop than Gandhi, we can win ... but I'm not sure how close FDR and Gandhi are in pop
 
Too bad we can't gift the GE to FDR and be sure he's going to use it for the UN....
