SGOTM 07 - Maintenance Thread

Agreed - if we're talking about 2 weeks or a month, then I'd sure prefer it was the latter and having all teams completing.

Further, the original date was not fixed. If it was "Complete by July 24th" thats one thing "Try and complete..." is something else.
And since it is summer and time for vacations, we thank the mods for their willingness to extend!

Man, I never realized how good this maintenance thread was for deriving spoiler info. :scan:

Disinformation can be just as effective as information!:p

Team Murky Waters captain agrees on and favors August 24th as the final deadline. This will enable us to spend a bit more time between turn sets to iron out the small details.

you guys worry about details??? what about kill'em ALL!!!!!!!!

So, the deadline is confirmed for August 24th?
I was almost sure of a delay to 07/14.

Can i suggest to open the subscriptions for next SG in early August?

Yes. There is now a deadline of August 24.

The next game will start when Gyathaar can design it. He is currently out of the country.

CFC servers have been having a lot of temporary glitches lately, this probably was one of them.

Whilst casually browsing the Civ3 SGOTM forum I came across this link which I didn't realise existed. However I notice that SGOTM06 is not featured.

Just for your information, there's a double http in your link.

 Stupid upgrade. What was wrong with the previous URL system? Thanks, I've edited it.

Fixed it.

I have now released the final results and stats for this game, and posted the Results and Congratulations thread.

Fixed it.

Erm, I've tried looking at the maps in both IE7 and FF 3.0 and it's still only showing maps up to Civ4 SGOTM05.

Erm, yeah! I had fixed it for viewing when I was logged in as Staff, but I had failed to set a flag to permit public viewing. Try now!
