Yes, something I keep forgetting. The chariot at Beijing would make a good pillager fo the hamlets and cottages at Hastings. Do we want to keep villages? I havne't figured out what's optimum.

I'll send the chariot down now. I think we should pillage all cottages. Work shops and farms are what we need, I think.
 
By due south, you mean 2S+2SW, right? I can have the worker scrub the tundra hill before his culture gets it.
Don't worry about that tundra hill. Crabbes Sushi culture will dominate that in about 5t at most. Do more important wkr actions first.
 
Don't forget a unit to capture it (St. Nick) before trying to gift it away...

The warrior in Moscow should be able to capture it on the turn after we gift it to him and our culture takes back over. We have so much excess happiness in Moscow that it can do with an MP for a turn or two.

Garrison unhappiness is pop/3, so that's approaching 7:mad: now.

Btw, a galley nearby would be useful not just for capturing in 1t, but also for stationing spies the same turn.
 
FAWK. We lost both of our caravels. The first one had a 9.9% and the second had 20.5% odds. The third Trireme went to protect the two wounded ones, so I can't kill them off.

Talk about bad RNG. At least our galleys survived.
 
I'm tempted to try for York this turn. It has 3 LB, 2 maces and 2 more triremes. After getting the defenses down to 27%, the first cannon has 37.8% odds. I have 2 more cannons, two CR III maces and 3 muskets. The others cannons should have better odds with collateral damage and once that CGIII LB is wounded. But, I would need to know that the culture will allow my units to jump into York this turn. I can also duck my galleys into York and use them to drop off units next to London. Otherwise I have to send the galleys back to Hastings to hide...

It's probably smarter to wait, but I'm open. Do we really want to push this war?

Also, I would protect our CRIII maces with kid gloves. DOn't kill them off at 75% odds. Use the muskets for that. Those CRIII maces will upgrade to rifle devastators. The muskets are crap.

Churchill controls the sea. SO we live with it. NOthing else we can do.
 
It's good that London's building tris instead of defenders. You might want to keep our galleys at arms length but taunt the tris, in hopes that London will keep right on building them.
