If 140 gold will get us medicine 1T earlier I would go for it, I can't see Gandhi having nationalism doing us any harm.

Banking to Gandhi for 140 gold isn't too bad. Banking opens up Mercantilism though... Maybe not? Unless we have a spy to switch him if he does switch?

And a 30% in Troy?
and 2 20% in Troy?

What's the cost next turn for one of the 20% guys to switch him to free market?

If the 2 20% fail at switch to FM then we have very good odds with the last one on the steal right? and good odds in Vlad.

I'm thinking about upgrading our Combat 1/Cover mace to Shock so that he can defend our stack. Should I do this or give him CRI?

No switch to FM yet. I'll wait until we have Corporations first.

Churchill has 3 triremes in the eastern ocean now. One of them is keeping the two trailing galleys from joining the party.

EDIT: xposts. I'll wait on the GG, but he's headed toward Moscow from Siberia, so I'll check back.

I would be inclined to promote our mace to city raider, and rely on our muskets for stack defence.

I think these guys would come in handy vs. Rosey (he will have muskets and those CR III units will get bonuses)

But if we settle GG in Moscow we are getting close to building CR III cannons, but will they come too late to help?

80 gold on treb upgrade is worth ~9 turns of extra research, let's say CRIII cannons save us 3 cannons that's 300 hammers ( 150 in Moscows)

2 movement cannon with accuracy can serve effectively as 2 accuracy siege units saving us another cannon

So maybe worth 400 / 200 moscow hammers and 80 gold

Plus those units might make the difference between a delay vs. further conquest. Maybe save us 1 turn on 3 cities? What is the production of 3 Rosey cities 1 turn earlier?

This makes even more sense, I think. Rather than just 3 CRIII, a whole bunch of them. The next settled GG is 11XP.

We won't have enough epp to see Roosevelt's research next turn. Current is 1073 + 181. I need 1303 to see research, so I'd be 59 epp short.

Should I run the slider at 10% to get those epp? Doing so could delay Medicine...

Do we get the benefits of buildings in between turns, so if you whipped the jail would you get the 50% espionage bonus on the numbers you see?

Can you make it up doing something like this and running more spies somewhere?

Got it. Sold Literature to Stalin for 40 gold so that I could bump up the epp slider by 10% without touching the science slider. Thank you, Stalin!!

This will give us 1331 of the needed 1303. I just hope that the price doesn't go up by 28 IBT. It should go down with all of the epp we're spending, but I'm not sure.

EDIT: I have another trick. If I watch closely, I get my epp before he gets his. His research will flash up for a millisecond, so I may be able to see it if for some reason the price goes up.
