Just to give y'all an idea of the north:
Tokugawa won't threaten us with his best unit ("fear my X!") so we can't know whether he has metal or Horses:
Capturing his Worker would be a bit of a gamble. We'd have +25% defense from the Hill, and probably +25% from the river. A Chariot would still receive winning odds, though. He also has Iron Working, so two possible sources of metal.
FWIW, the Confucianism is already dominating as a religion:
We are the largest civ, in terms of land mass and population.

Because Aesthetics completes ~T61 (at 100% after the Academy), we can extort Polytheism from Asoka on T62 if necessary.
Unless we find an AI with lots of

, we will also run out of

on T61. I haven't looked into building Wealth yet.
To judge from
a test, capturing Constantinople will generate ~100G, when we lose ~40G per turn. In other words, we can raise the slider for 2.5 turns with capture gold.
I think this leaves us ~3 turns short of

to research Literature. I can check later in a test. Having 6 cities without CHs or foreign trade routes is tough on the economy.
Ideally, we would receive Polytheism + gold (and Iron Working, OFC) in a trade, to allow us to continue researching @ 100%. If that happens, then after we capture Constantinople, we will need to decide whether we want to finish Asoka off or extort Monotheism + Organized Religion.
